Rumour is Leeds value him at 3.1 mill ,surley not beyond our purse strings even though a Prem bigger club will get him.

Now this doesn't suprise me.......Ken Bates is too shrewd to keep such a valuable player through the final year of his contract and allow him to leave for free.

Perhaps this has all been a big exercise just to see just how much they can get for him and also hold onto him until the last available opportunity.

Unfortunately with Bolton apparently showing interest I would be suprised if we prove to be the biggest bidder.......but you never know, stranger things have happened!
