For starters look at how many shots we have against us now compared to pre Harry I believe it's something in the region of 75% less.
Especially since Harry got his players in at the window, got Bobby back, and could stop polishing Hughes' turd. And defensively, lapses like Monday's aside (and MK Dons..), we've been better too.

Also I would have snapped up Lambert when we first got promoted and Southampton were in div 1. The guy clearly had the ability to play at a higher level and would have been worth a punt. I know a few of us mentioned his name and got laughed off.

Heres a name I would go and get if we dropped and I reckon a few of you will dissent but get me Grant Holt. You need an ugly, hard but clever bugger in the championship who can hold his own up top and love him or hate him he ticks the boxes and would do the job up top. Wins free kicks, holds the ball up and ensures the centre backs know they have been in a match at the end of 90mins. Not everyones cup of team but if you want out the championship I would have him in the trenches with me

Spot on mate. I said to my pal last couple of games we've looked like a proper team. Villa & Fulham we should of had at least 4 points imo, missed penalty against Norwich 2 points dropped & that's the deficit cut to 1. It's that fine. As previously mentioned the manager can't be held to account for defensive mistakes or badly taken penalties.

My stance towards him softened when he tried to stop the ref sending off Barton last year.

Holt would be a superb signing. Would bang in 15 goals in the CCC with ease I reckon. Him & DJ up top wouldn't be too shabby.

I dont mind Booth. I dont think he has the bottle to play as an out and out top man for a season though.

For me though he would be perfect as an option on the left wing. Has a decent size about him for the diagonal ball, has quick feet and a few tricks and also a turn of pace and actually has a decent left peg. Play him out wide for me I think he would be most effective there but also gives you the option of being able to sling him up top during the game if required.

I think he has way more ability then he shows. Reminds me a bit of Heskey needs someone to give him a slap in the tunnel and say they have s hagged his mum to get him fired up for the game or he is just on cruise control

Top shout but think Blackburn over paid for him but he is still finding the net in a poor side

Good news for me & lets see if he can clear the decks & get us up at the first shout. Very very hard but top manager & squad to do the job. Forget about other teams we have the makings of a very good Prem side never mind a CCC side.
Very good news if true, I'd love him to stay, and if given some financial backing maybe from player sales I think/hope Harry will do the bizz for us

You need a mix ....young players that bring energy to the team and experience heads to keep em under control

Put it this way, the board would probably want to keep him in the hope of a swift return, and he's got time left on his contract. Therefore the only out would be if a club wanted him badly enough to offer a significant amount of compensation the board feel is worth more than the risk further management change could impact our chance of coming back up.

Personally i think if we go down, they'll value stability and consistency to benefit our attempt to come back a lot more than a few million a club may offer.

He wont walk / buy out of a lucrative contact himself.

                              Therefore i think he'll stay.
