Weare the point being the players he signed have been good. Shall we talk about Hughes' signings?
Harry Redknapp QPR manager. To me that's a top catch. Lets give him a whole season like we afforded Warnock and judge him then, not picking up the pieces after another idiots failings.

In the ideal world if the worst happens and we drop Harry stays but he has the time to put together a squad to get us out of the championship with a mind on the following season in the prem.
We got promoted to the prem unexpectadly and that is part of the problem which we are still struggling with now, we had a mid table championship squad which got on a run and managed to maintain the momentum and got promoted. Think Warnock and Hughes realised this and since then we have been trying to play catch up to get a squad in place, Flavio and Knee high farting about when we got up never helped. But instead of planning a squad we have simply bought players hence our position.
Harry staying and having a manager who is able to plan two seasons in advance is what we have been missing as for the last three years everything has been short term and reactive

Injury Prone
An OAP
Not used to English Football
Too slow
Just at our small club for a ridiculous salary
Or generally sh1t
Unfortunately our "experienced" signings all had to meet at least one of the above.

If were buying players who could do a job in the champ with an eye on the prem too then we need to be purchasing the likes of Townsend (resale value) and spending the parachute money wisely by cherry picking the best the championship has to offer, that geezer who was at WBA Wood would be worth looking at to compemsate those who may decide to stay from this season.
