Fernandes was key in bringing them in but for me he lacks knowledge of the championship and most players he could bring in wouldn't want to play in the championship, so imo it's a massive gamble on huge wages. Loves to talk about overpaid players but maybe he should look closer to home.
You can't watch QPR then weare, Remy has been quality since day one in came through the door, yes he was out for 3 games but he has lived up to expectations, samba has had one bad game, we took the risk in Jan, f cuk me if we wouldn't of taken the risk and spent would you still be moaning?? Yes you would

Weare the point being the players he signed have been good. Shall we talk about Hughes' signings?

Harry Redknapp QPR manager. To me that's a top catch. Lets give him a whole season like we afforded Warnock and judge him then, not picking up the pieces after another idiots failings.

In the ideal world if the worst happens and we drop Harry stays but he has the time to put together a squad to get us out of the championship with a mind on the following season in the prem.

We got promoted to the prem unexpectadly and that is part of the problem which we are still struggling with now, we had a mid table championship squad which got on a run and managed to maintain the momentum and got promoted. Think Warnock and Hughes realised this and since then we have been trying to play catch up to get a squad in place, Flavio and Knee high farting about when we got up never helped. But instead of planning a squad we have simply bought players hence our position.

Harry staying and having a manager who is able to plan two seasons in advance is what we have been missing as for the last three years everything has been short term and reactive

Funny that, exactly the argument I heard when I dared question all those expensive acquisitions at the end of last summer. Look where all those experienced stars have gotten us.

like that post westie...we really tried to run before we could walk....lets regroup and consolidate with arry n his staff and i really do think we,with maybe a new center half n full back ,we'd at least be looking at the playoffs!

Remy's been the best buy we've made in the PL. Bar Nelsen. He has to be played up front, mind, not on the right. One goal every two games??

Experience in the Championship is one thing. Experience in the PL is another....especially if you are:

                      Injury Prone
                      An OAP
                      Not used to English Football
                      Too slow
Just at our small club for a ridiculous salary
                      Or generally sh1t

Unfortunately our "experienced" signings all had to meet at least one of the above.

remy,i hope im wrong but its unlikely, will go on to bigger things in the prem when we go down...but i actually think we'll make money on him as the rest know even in a poor side he'll score!

He would easily win most overrated manager and vastly overpaid too! If I could see improvement I would accept our fate but there hasn't been any and the league table don't lie.
I would suggest you are not looking hard enough if you can't see improvement under Harry.

                            Exactly.

For starters look at how many shots we have against us now compared to pre Harry I believe it's something in the region of 75% less.

of course there has been improvement performance wise but defensively we are not upto prem standard!

Its frustrating as take away the last two defeats this team has actually started to perform and look like something that resembles a united outfit and its taken two years and could be torn up in 6 weeks.

If were buying players who could do a job in the champ with an eye on the prem too then we need to be purchasing the likes of Townsend (resale value) and spending the parachute money wisely by cherry picking the best the championship has to offer, that geezer who was at WBA Wood would be worth looking at to compemsate those who may decide to stay from this season.
