Nothing of the sort, and no need for you to stir things up like that. However if it's true then the poster needs to refund the OP or at least explain himself. We can't allow this kind of thing to happen on here if we are to provide such a facility for fellow fans to help each other out.

Im not creating a sob story but that money was important to me being unable to work currently due to an operation on my spine. Would just like to inform members of this site not trust pookiesdad as they have not only left me out of pocket but denied another QPR fan the chance to attend the game
Cry me a river mate, as someone said loads of bods at the match looking for a spare ticket

In fairness to the OP, if you read his comment above he says:

"couldent get out of bed let alone travel up there and watch the game, was relying on the offender coming down and meeting me which was the plan until they stopped answering their phone at about 6 when they told me they were on their way"

Or I would be in agreement with you.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Sorry, but you would have been out of pocket if no one repied to your offer and you're still out of pocket now so no loss is there?! It's not like you could go and sell it coz you're in bed so again you're out of pocket anyway. Sounds harsh but how do you know something bad aint happened to Pookiesdad? Try PMing instead of public humiliation? Not good if he died trying to get to you!

had to turn down other offers to buy the ticket due to Pookiesdad getting in contact with me first which seemed like the decent thing to do so wouldent be out of pocket without being let down. tried PMing, texting and ringing what more can i do?

To be honest there is some kindness in the world, I lost my phone on the way to see the ticket seller. I turned around and headed to the pub as I had know way of contacting the seller. On arrival to the pub I saw my ex sis in law in there and she gave me a ticket to sit beside her, all though be it in the Fulham end I enjoyed myself. On returning home I was with a loved one when there phone rang, it was a lady she said she had my phone and rang my loved one described only as sexy on my phone. I now had to collect my phone on doing so the lady told me she had to put the phone on silent as it was constantly making noise. I thanked her and gave her £50 not bad considering its a Galaxy S3 and I have no insurance. Anyhow I had every intention of paying this ticket seller until I read the message he had left. Well over 50, some amusing some rude.

I am at an impass at what to do as I was feeling guilty but now that has subsided after I read the messages.

I will leave it to the folk on WATRB to decide whether the cost of the ticket should me met.

Mods feel free to make a poll if necessary.

                          Thanks

Assuming everything you say is true I think it's still fair to say there are mitigating circumstances for the OP to have felt quite aggrieved/angry at:
                            a) not being paid for the ticket a fellow R had agreed to buy, and
                            b) being completely unable to subsequently contact you for an explanation.

Now that you've been able to explain the situation perhaps the OP will be able to look differently on the situation.

Either way I think the only way it can be amicably resolved would be for the two of you to do so via PM. In fact I would humbly request that you both do that because WATRB have a degree of moral responsibility by providing such a service in the first place.
