  • So GP's still the ringmaster

Watson proves this and it worries me.

How about we actually sign someone who will strengthen the areas mass consensus is we are actually WEAK in????
You know, maybe a full back or three, a striker or two who know where the back of the net is and so on.

I'll be watching towards 5pm with interest but don't expect to be blown away
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

To be fair, while it's apparent that GP has instigated the deal to bring Ben Watson to Loftus Road, I don't think Magilton will be complaining too much. I think any manager in this division would be glad to have Watson on their playing staff.

As I understand it Jim Magilton has a say in all of the comings and goings at Loftus Road. Hopefully the board have learnt valuable lessons from the transfer policy under some of JM's predecessors.

          He WILL strengthen central midfield.

          That is all.

Well said though it will not of course stop the antI GP brigade getting their beating sticks out and deriding the player already!!

              Absolute Rubbish

Ben Watson would walk into ANY teams midfield in this division he is an outstanding signing.

We are desperate for a Centre Midfielder who can pass, tackle, score goals and LEAD. We do not have a player like this in a squad, absolutely MASSIVE signing.

The signing of Ben Watson could be the turning point of our season because IMO with Faurlin starting Rowlands, Legiertwood, Mahon and yes Buzsaky are not good enough in the centre of the pitch to mount a Play Off challenge.

Oh give it a rest. We make a signing like Watson and still people moan or question where these players are being sourced from. The main thing we should be worrying about is the team performances... which on the whole have been better than last season. Lets face it which club in this division would turn down the likes of a player like Watson!

SPOT ON THERE MATE! Probably our best signing in the last 8 - 10 years IMO. If we can nick a forward that would be superb. I feel Borrowdale has come under harsh slander of late. He has played better than expected and NOTE Connolly can fill in there if we do struggle!

                      Please

please remember that paladini brought in routledge, connolly these two players alone are worth ten million
knowone thought that magilton would be responsable for the players being brought in
as he is no managerial genius and the gift of buying and selling players isnt
                      one of his strong points
we just need to think harder about getting a couple of good strikers into the club
unless simpson can do the buisness, but gianni can buy some good players
i would clear out ayegemang and borrowdale and if they are not going to use ainsworth they may as well let him leave

The anti GP brigade really are getting quite tedious now.

Ben Watson if it's true would be a terrific signing a player with real class and he would walk into any championship team.

The signing of Faurlin who was scouted by John Gorman and Magilton at Ipswich proves that that it's not team GP.

I'm not saying that Gianni is perfect by any stretch of the imagination but those that continue to magnify every single element of his position at the club need to really get a life.

I'm sure there's another website that you would all be welcome on, someone post a link they have a one dimensional view on GP I sometimes wonder if they will ever be happy to be honest.

o dear, we are now complaining about Ben Watson, who is probably the best midfielder in the championship. It beggars belief.

I keep hearing we finished 11th last season on merit, well that means the players are not good enough. The fact we are getting players in to improve our chances, is something that should be applauded.

Plus, the whole place needs freshening, get in another fresh face and let a couple go.

If it gets Mahon and Ledge out the team I will be happy! Those 2 cannot pass! Watson can do everything that those 2 cannot.!
