  • Hill just too slow

Hill has done well this season just has not got any pace, got to b on subs bench for the rest of the season, I am sure its because of no pace that he gives some silly free kicks away, arry should have taken him off once he was booked not at half time.

That's funny considering how many have been on here singing his praises all season, I think he knows in himself that maybe he's not good enough for the Prem but one thing he never lacks is fight and a passion for the club unlike some of our so called superstars, who people keep singing praises and voting for MOM even when they're poor

His lack of pace had nothing to do with the three goals Samba shipped yesterday.

I didn't think he had a bad game yesterday. One stupid foul and an own goal he could do nothing about. The rest was sambas fault.

Its the reckless challenges he now seems to be doing more and more now lucky to stay on the pitch yesterday, also for the second goal he had a chance to pass it downfield but decided to pass it across the back, the same as what Samba should have done with it and also Boswinga had a chance as well by putting it downfield, what I am saying is he does give all for the club just wish he was five or six years younger, age has caught up with him.

Just not good enough for this level simple as that, can't fault his commitment but at this level you need talent to go with that!

he has been too slow for all our time here - why is it suddenly a surprise to anyone?

When we play without a shield infront of our defence from the start the CB´s have a really tough task. Look what it did to us,yesterday.

they have a tough task because they are are slow. The PL is not a league to have no pace at all at CB.

He's slow but his positioning is great, he has had some of the fastest people in the league in his pocket since we've been in the prem. Great defender but a little reckless, and was rightly brought off at HT yesterday.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Wasn't a problem second half when we went 442, was it? Then, without Adel in his dumb ass 'free role', Mbia and Jenas could keep possession and play it out to Townsend and Adel/ Holliet or Boswinga and (less so) Traore. Everyone had both Bobby and Remy to aim for. And the back four could push up so stopping Fulham's runs into space.

'Some of the fastest'?!....speed is nothing without ability so no great shakes there then! If Hill, Derry and Mackie were good enough for the Prem they would have been playing in it years ago, plus we would not be saying "they know they are not good enough but they always give 100% unlike the other overpriced players at our club". Effort is great but ability is better...Le Tiss, Hoddle, Waddle....
