O'Neil to a good pal of mine after getting the Sunderland job. 'they're focking shat'. 3 months later, 'they're still focking shat'. Don't think his heart was in it.
    Nothing to prove

          8/1 at the moment.

Never rated O'Neill. He's served up absolute dross at pretty much every club. Done well at the start of his career, but the games changed.

8 games or so left. Hopefully this will help us. I hope it is not Hughes though, think he has something to prove.

Michael Gray was on SSN this morning saying at the time of appointing O'Neill it was betwene him & Hughes - can't imagine they would even dream of taking him on now after his horror show at us.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Crazy decision!! one I dont think he is what they need to stay up plus if they drop dont think he is the person to take them back up. The sacking this late was mad Di Canio (flavour of the month) is crazier

I wouldn't want Di Canio here

They want him to create enthusiasm in the team, I guess.

An act of desperation in its purest form.
