Reviewing the fixtures for the next two games I dont think its would be silly to think the gap could be back down to four points.
In my view I fancy us for four points from Fulham and Wigan giving us 27 points. None of the teams around us have easy games and there is a six pointer which means points will be dropped one way or the other.
Sunderlands next two are Man Utd and Chelsea = not unreasonable to expect them to get no points
Reading have Arsenal and Southampton = point at best for them
Villa face Liverpool and Stoke = I would guess at best one point
Wigan take on Norwich and us = I would only give them a point as Norwich looked decent enough with 10 men against Sunderland and are still playing well enough
Southampton play Chelsea and Reading = 3 points
I think the above are probable results which would leave the table as follows with 6 games to go:
Southampton 34
Villa 31
Sunderland 31
Wigan 28
Us 27
Reading 24
