IMO support means financial support or moral support, both are valid and should be encouraged instead of belittling them.

I just don't get this 'I'm a bigger fan than you' stuff. Why does it matter?

We need all the support/following/fans we can get so that the next generation help to keep the club going, and help it thrive and grow, doesn't really matter to what degree the support is. There is always a bigger fan out there.

It's like the 'where were you when we were sh1t' singing brigade. Some people prefer not to pay to watch sh1t, it can be deemed an intelligent decision, simple. I mean, how stupid is that song, it's so niave. The fans that sing it are basically saying 'I have suffered for this **** team, and I now envy those who didn't have to' Laughable.

      Ridiculous thread.

Been done to death many times before. There are many reasons why peolpe may not go to games, be it financial, location, health, family or work commitments, whatever. It doen't make them less of a fan / supporter.

I used to have ST's with my wife and had to give them up when we had kids. Nowadays she works Saturdays and i have to look after them and therefore have no chance of getting to most games and have only managed 2 this season. It is really frustrating at times, but tbh, if i was fre on Saturdays i certainly couldn't justify the outlay for a ST anymore, and even that many games as there's always something else more pressing needs paying for.

Oh look, another what makes a real supporter thread . I think we all will always have different definitions, so this will never be agreed on. Personally I don't get to too many games a season. BUT unless like me you can say that you grandad was supporting QPR in 1911 then your not a real supporter. Anything less than a 100 years and your just glory hunting!:=):

You ain't a true fan unless you have a tattoo of Queens Park Rangers FC on your manhood or in the case of little people QPR

That's different. Most Chelsea fans do that
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million

Imagine how the Nigerian stewards in South Africa Road would react with all 3 of us standing on the seats doing a synchronised fella-copter in support of our team
