As long as he doesn't come back to soon I think he'll be fine.

Don't think it is really. Cook now surely behind Taarabt, Balanta and maybe Vine for the left sided spot. He hasn't played much since May 2007, and when he has he's been ineffectual.

Agyemang and Mahon to go now. Alberti to be loaned out. Cook to go once he is fit again. That's about it.

He has to have confidence in his body to pull off some of his old tricks. Give him a chance.

Finished? At the age of 27?

Seems a slightly premature conclusion to have reached. At least give him a chance to prove himself after his injury.

What was the whole of last season about then, if it wasn't giving him a chance? He was signed when, by his own admission, he still had problems with his knee.

I can understand players coming back from a bad injury taking some time to get back up to speed, but not to go from one end of the season to the other without any improvement. As I mentioned in my post above, there are two or three players ahead of him who deserve their chance, and it isn't fair to shove them to one side to accommodate him again.

I'm not saying he has a right to the position. If he can get back to his prior form we'll be very happy. Just don't give up on him yet.

Lovely. And how is he going to get his form back? In training? He has no pre season behind him, and our reserve team schedule, such as it is, wouldn't give anyone any meaningful match action.

Far as I can see, it would need Taarabt, Balanta and Vine all to be injured before he'd get a run. And even then, Hogan would probably have a reasonable shout to start on the left.

Realistically, this season is probably a write off for him, unless he's prepared to go out on loan somewhere.

The amount of people saying sell Legs is a mystery to me. He is great in the challenge n in the air, just what we need in the middle of the park so his centre mid partner n wingers can get forward. Faurlin looks good n Watson is a great addition but neither can do the job Legs does. If rowlands is fit he plays ahead of leigertwood but his injury problems r a worry.

Sell Mahon n agyemang n helguson(if we get a decent striker 2moro) the loan out the youngsters. I can see quite a few leaving in January once we see a more solid team n subs each week

Couldn't agree more hermitage about legs - criminally under-rated by some fans. Not silky but nor was waddock, barker (to some extent) or holloway but in a rangers team I fancy dans u always need someone for the ugly tackles and who plays like he cares also in a few games this season he's looked one of our few match fit players

Now that we have Watson I'd listen to offers for Buzsaky you have to be realistic and if we could get decent money then sell. Magilton has Taarabt, Cook and Ephriam all capable of playing on the left (which is the only position JM will play him) it is like fitting a square peg in a round hole. Makes me laugh when people on here pick there ideal team with Buzsaky as the second striker or man in the hole behind the front 2. It has never happened since he has played for us and it is clear to me JM will not play him in CM so why hold onto to him?

Same goes for Vine, why do people say 'he will come good', how will he? You have to cast sentiment aside the man must go out on loan he not worth holding onto at present.

Keep Legiertwood but release Mahon - Legiertwood is a utility player and if we do sell a CB which could happen he is adequate cover. I'd even consider sending Rowlands out on loan with a recall option to get him match fit.

Get rid of Ageymang & Alberti but keep Balanta for another option up front.

                          :waaaht:

I can never quite understand why so many don't see Leigertwood as a quality player.

IMO he's a very big player for us. He'd be one of the last to go if I was manager.

                          :tired:

But I'm just a little lamb from the Cotswolds. I know nothing...
