EDS boss lauds Moroccan after Upton Park cameo

MARC BIRCHAM believes Adel Taarabt can still play a pivotal part in QPR’s survival bid after finding the net at West Ham United on Tuesday.

Taarabt starred for a QPR XI which slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Upton Park, firing the R's consolation in style with a sublime free-kick from 25 yards.

The Moroccan ace impressed off the bench at Aston Villa on Saturday and Bircham knows Rangers' number 10 has plenty to offer as the season nears its nail-biting climax.

Stood just behind Birch at Villa, love the bloke. Hope he becomes manager of us one day, him and Ainsworth

Don´t think the other players will feel they are a part of team, if he starts. Should be on the bench, IMO.
I would love to be proven wrong, though.

Should start Adel every game, it's mackie that is the weak link.

Too good to be sitting on the bench and showed what he's about when coming on against villa.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He was quite key in winning some of the final home games last year when we needed to. Hopefully can do the same this time round. Although away from home could be a bit of a liability so maybe just use him in the home games when we need to unlock a tight defence.

Been discarded by Arry like a piece of rubbish

Such a shame to see talent being wasted

Still our most important player but sits on the bench, smh

Spot on dale, the thing is adel hasn't had a fit Remy upfront to work with and he's had to use mackie, I agree with mackie being dropped by why he hasn't played adel with remy from the start is very bizarre. I am getting to the point that I hope harry leaves at the end of the season. We will have a clear out of players and i'd like a younger up and coming man to take control.

Agree but he has more talent than any other player. He makes things happen and with Remy upfront he at last has a player with good movement that he can work with.

i agree he works well with players around him who have pace.two seasons ago it was routledge who provided the outlet for adels passing ability

Where would you play him weare? Surely we should have BZ/JB and Remy up top, so Adel on a wing? or CM?

As I said, I would love to be proven wrong, butjust feel that he is being found out this year. Anyway, when we are struggling he´s well worth a try, no doubt the talent is there.Lot´s of it,in fact.
