Horror Tackle by McManaman

The FA have now charged Newcastle's John Carver for his reaction at half time.
Utterly spineless from the FA to not punish that tackle, and to then charge Carver in addition is scandalous tbf
Their excuse that an official saw the incident (but not the extent of the challenge) and therefore they can't do anything would be possibly excusable, had they not ignored this in the past (Thatcher on Mendes for example)

WOW.
Regarding the incident - they have followed the rules. Change rules mid season would be farcical and start the ball rolling for chaos.

Referee should have been suspended then if he says he saw it, didn't even give a free kick for the challenge. If you see that challenge and you don't give a free kick then you shouldn't refereeing an under 8's game let alone in the Premier League!

this & Fellaini's headbutt just shows how disproportionate Joey's ban was.... FA are a joke, as corrupt as any institution in this country
but they are only harming themselves, good technical players will not want to come to the prem to get their careers ended by some gyppo
