Callum McManaman faces no further action for Haidara challenge
Wigan forward Callum McManaman will not face any further action from the Football Association over his challenge on Newcastle defender Massadio Haidara.

Haidara was taken off on a stretcher in the Latics' 2-1 win on Sunday after a McManaman tackle that was described as "awful" by Newcastle boss Alan Pardew.

The FA says it cannot take "retrospective action" as one of the officials saw the incident take place.

The governing body added it does not wish to "re-referee" matches.

They are having a laugh FA what a bunch of ******s.

Some people question why I go on my twitter & slate The FA at every turn. Every football fan knows that should of been punished.

The FA are a disgrace. England belongs to The FA & that's why I hate England too. I'm not support The FA
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

And if that was J Barton?

Yeah , Barton got done last year and sent off against Norwich when NONE of the officials saw what he did. The way these clowns run the game in this country is a complete farking joke.

At least if he plays against us, gives us the opportunity to give the him dogs abuse. Don't care that he is young, he is a vicious player with a history of injuring other players. Don't care how much Martinez has come out with the classic "oh he's not that sort of player and hasn't got a nasty bone in his body".

This is the single biggest disgrace of a decision EVER and that really is saying something. What a joke and to make it even worse the FA have now charged the Newcastle coach who challenged the ref at half time for not dealing with it. Absolute circus.

So lets get this straight.....The FA tell us that if a referee takes action against an incident during a game and say for instance gives a yellow instead of a red, or sends a player off when it's unjust (Derry last season) they cannot take action as the ref has dealt with it.
Now they are saying that they can't take action against the Wigan player because although the ref took no action, he or one of his incompetent assistants were looking in that direction.
Unnnnnnf*ckinbelievable!!!!!!......Why don't they just come out and tell the truth, some clubs are favoured over others.
Imo if Halsey and friends were looking at that and did nothing they should never work in the game again, ....time for tv help these people just can't make these idiotic decisions, there's too much at stake.

It weren't the best of tackles but hoping and praying a rival team has a player banned is clutching at straws a little bit for me. Im sure Wigan wouldnt go into meltdown had the boy Mcmanamam been suspended.

But being down to 10 men may have brought a different result from the Newcastle game, which is of interest to the teams around them

Disgusting challenge and would have banned him a very long time, wouldn't even have thought twice about it.

SSN should get the FA on live and get them to answer some serious questions about their decision making.
