Sounds like a nice enough fella but either doesnt have a scooby when it comes to running a football club or has been naive and been taken for a ride by numerous managers, agents, players and anyone else who is looking for a rich punter and an easy pay out. Still his PR tweets about his "lifelong commitment" seems to placate most of the fans and we now NEED him to remain and keep paying the bills so i spose there is nothing that can be done except bend over and hope he treats us gently.
You can't blame him for last year, this year we had a team that everyone thought would finish mid table, correct me if I'm wrong?

There is no way that you or anyone else can say that you knew this would happen, and if you did know, give us all the lotto numbers for this weekend.

??? Tony has to take a percentage of the blame for this seasons mess. Hughes should have been sacked earlier and the season rescued. Not backed blindly like he was for a couple of months too long.

And I'm sure he will take a percentage of the blame. I dont think he backed him "blindly", its not like we were terrible every game. Chelsea at home, Everton at home, Spurs away are good examples - we were more then decent. Most people thought we were one scraped win away from clicking. It just didnt happen. The fans wanted HR, Tony got us HR.

Overall, Tony has been a top top chairman, the best I can remember in my lifetime.

You talk like it's a forgone conclusion that if Hughes had gone sooner everything would've been rosy. The fact is when Harry came in we were 6 points from safety.... currently after a few months and bringing in his own players we are 7 points from safety. There's a very fine line between success and failure in football. Many would also argue there were plenty of games under Hughes this season when we played well and would've won but for inexplicable errors or lapses of judgement by players who should do better, be it errors in defence or missing sitters in attack, equally detrimental.

Hindsight is great but chucking the blame around is pretty pointless becasue so many need to take some responsibility, and as for we should've done this or that, there's no certainty to any hypothetical situation with regards to it working so pretty pointless.

So Hughes was the wrong man? and now Harry hasnt improved us as we are further behind? who brought them in as managers? Who signed the very marketable Park? Tony's head honcho, Tony takes the blame. Just as he would have taken the plaudits if it had been a success. Well its been a disaster. We came up to the prem a better team than both Norwich and Swansea, they have progressed and we have gone backwards. Something at our club is very wrong for this to happen and either TF caused it or he hasnt as yet put it right and he's had 2 seasons of chucking somebodys money at it. Well thats not working so hopefully next season he will take some advice and go about things a little different. After 2 years under his ownership we now have astronomical wage bills and only relegation to show for it. Well done Fernandes.

Actually to be fair you could possibly say that Fernandes made a bigger mistake installing Phil Beard than he did Mark Hughes as Phil knows **** all about football and its scary considering Fernandes leaves Phil with the day to day running of the club.
