"The shareholders have that commitment. The journey ahead is so exciting. We need a new training ground, a new stadium, a more successful academy. That's so exciting. How can anyone feel down for too long?
"Forget Aston Villa. Focus on the future. The path in front of us is exciting.
"So come on, let's show the world NOW what type of club we are. We're a club that believes, a club that has passion, and a club that never gives up."
Makes going down (if we do) not too bad.

“lifelong commitment” ... I don't like when people make such flashy statements. Just be there for us when we go down, you owe it to us for not sacking Hughes for so long, but no need for this spin now.Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I'm glad Tony has come out and said this. There are fans who understandably have their doubts about the current situation of our club, and whether or not the board are truly committed because of what other foreign owners have done to the likes of Portsmouth and Birmingham in the past. But you get the feeling Tony is genuine, and he seems like a really nice bloke. I'm sure if he sticks to his word then we will be successful in the years to come. Tony deserves a lot of respect, and I hope he surrounds himself with better people in the future.

What a great read - Tony deserves great credit and respect for that and like many on here I am grateful that we have a Chairman of his ilk. Of course talk is cheap and the proof of the pudding (and all that), but he speaks like a fan and at the moment we all need a bit of a lift and I feel so much more confident knowing that he and his fellow directors are in this for the long haul.
U Rssss!!

I suppose the one positive is that having been rodgered senseless by team Kia, and having watched supposedly competent players flounder on high wedge, TF is in the process of learning.
I would be more confident if a fraction of those resources were aimed at long term development. We shall see.
