  • 3 Games, 2 Wins, 1 Loss, 7 Goals

Our league record from the last 3 games: 2 wins, 1 loss, 7 goals.

Our league record from the entire season before that: 2 wins, 14 losses, 19 goals.

As it is, we may have shaped up just a few games too late, but our team is looking so strong now that we may hope to pull off some unexpected wins.

It's not over until it becomes mathematically impossible.

Have to agree with that Joon. Much better to be ending our season on this type of form than our previous. We need to pick up where we left off no matter what league we end up in. I still don't accept that we are gone yet. Probable, yes, but there are still 8 games left so on this type of form we still have a chance.

Really good form actually. Thing I'm enjoying at the moment is we actually look pretty dangerous going forward. I know it's unlikely us staying up but I still think we will, there's nothing stopping us winning all 8 of our remaining games. Probably wont, but you know stranger things have happened

At the moment we play the type of fotball which QPR should, going forward, like mentioned by the poster above. That´s good!!

Having beaten Southampton and Sunderland I would have taken draws away to Villa and Fulham. Now, if we beat Fulham we are better off than we would have been with those two draws so it's not all done yet! Obvious down side was Villa moving 7 clear and with Wigan cheating their way to 3 points made it worse but there is still a lot to happen. And to cap it all we played well and really should have won.
          I'm still believing, for now

I think we're playing much better football and will certainly pick up more points, but we needed to be doing this in February, not late March.

We could be 10 points off by the time we play Fulham and I don't think we'll be capable of pulling that back. 4 or 5 more games than we have and I'd say we could, but with only 24 points to play for I think it's too far.

I genuinely believed we would stay up before last weekend, but Villa, Wigan and Southampton has ended it. The Villa game has completely knocked the stuffing out of me.

3 defensive errors, 3 goals, 0 points, 3 points to our relegation rival, 7 points from safety. Good football about 10 games too late.

No harm in it at all & I have to admit I do admire the optimism in some I really do & I won't ever knock somebody for being optimistic but me, personally, can't see it happening. If we had won or even drawn Saturday I woulda said we were guna stay up, given our run in, but after that defeat and us sitting 7 off safety I cant see it. I know stranger things have happened in football (Crouchy marrying Abbey Clancy being 1 of em!), but it's too big an ask IMO. Still, I'll be there cheering em on praying we pull of a near on miracle!

You're right. I think we're done. But I'm going to cheer them on and hope we can do it.

Relegation party up at Liverpool I reckon - no point crying over spilt milk! Can't stand it when ya see fans sitting there crying like babies on the last day of the season when they're relegated.

To all those who said Villa wasnt a must win....

Ahh phfff... Whats the point. It was, that loss wiped out the two previous wins. BAck where we were, but with 3 less games left.

Lets prey the core of the team stay for next season!

If it was the beginning of the season, we could have marked 10th at least...

It wasnt a must win game.... a draw would've been a fine result, unfortunately we messed it up and didn't make our complete domination count 1st half and lost what was a mustn't lose game.

However, as per the OP, we have to disregard the table and just play our games and amass as many points as we can..... WE will hopefully win more than we lose becasue we are playing well and there's a lot to be positive about.... we could've got 4 or 5 goals first half against a bouyed Villa, the same side City could'nt break down the other week. We are playing well and that's the best scenario for our run in. We could get another couple of back to back wins and find ourselves 3 points away again with 5 games left.... it's not over until its over.

We were always going to lose the odd game in the run in, the fact its happened at Villa is bad as boosts them, but we were going to lose games. Now we need to win games and on some weekends we'll win while others stutter.

I always said i feel we and Villa and Wigan have the beating of sides as on form have attacking impetus and are a threat. The teams we need to hope continue to fail are the likes of Sunderland and hopefully Saints (althogh that win will be big for them) plus Wigan to remain inconsistent and lose some, possibly distracted with taking 15k to Wembley....

Sunderland needed to beat Norwich, they didn't even against 10 men for an hour at home, they are on woeful form and now play Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton... perfectly conceivable they get nothing from those games.

Let's just wait and see no matter how unlikely it looks right now, and hope Villa get a bit complacent and lose their next couple.
