we will not just meekly go away as we would have undoubtedly done under the hapless real cause of our predicament....mark hughes......we are at least showing some bravado and intent to win games now and i was proud of everyone conected with our fantastic little club yesterday....yes the fat lady is in her cab on the way over but i hope her driver takes a few wrong turns over the coming weeks...yes yesterday we needed to get something from that game but footballs fickle fortunes will change again over the next few games of that im certain............until that dreaded 'r' is next to our name in te table...keep believing.....keep the faith!

That’s my view Facto. I felt we had to take a point yesterday I would have been happy with that and I am still scratching my head as to how they got all three I feel mugged. Basically there keeper won them the points and we turned off in time added on of the first half.
I still, like you, think there are more twists to come, Villa fans on the way home suggested they were safe and taunted us saying we were going down but Karma in their position is a wonderful thing as Bolton found out last season who sang the same song to us but we stayed up at their expense. Villa recorded their first back to back wins yesterday since 2011 so although ahead of us I would not expect them on that record to win the next two of three their still deep in the brown stuff. Villa give teams chances and their keeper (who was first class cant take that away from him) will not be able to pull off 4 world class saves every game between now and the end of the season to keep them winning.
In January every saw Reading win a few and say they would be safe they even won manager and players of the month now look at them.
Yesterdays result has left us with our backs against the wall but what I saw yesterday was a team willing to fight and give it a go and at the final whistle players hurting on their knees not a bunch of players who don’t care. We move on; a win against Fulham and a few decent results else where and were all buzzing again.

Wigan, Sunderland, Saints, Villa are all so unpredictable so its anyone's guess who will join Reading in the Championship next season. Two wins and a draw will see us back in it especially if these four lose their next two or three which is very possible.
I don't expect anything from Fulham but three points each from Wigan, Stoke and a draw at Everton and things will be very different. It will go to the wire as long as we stay in touch with those in 16th & 17th.
The current form table gives great encouragement, Wigan, Sunderland, Stoke and Reading fill the bottom 4 places with us in 14th. Over the last four games we are on a par with Everton.
Keep the faith!!22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

There is nothing more I would like but for Villa to drop (with or without us) to wipe the simile off there muggy and trappy fans to the right of us. How a side deep in the doo doo can sing going down to us when it was still nil nil and were smashing shot after shot at their goal beggars belief.
Perfect example of a big team mentality not getting that even now there is every chance they could go down. I seriously feel they have a Bolton moment coming up. They sang going down to us after beating us and there fat boy with his triple XL still straining to get over his girth gave it loads but we had the last laugh, Villa fans outside yesterday were acting the same they think yesterdays result has saved them but I am not so sure.
Villa I fear your in for a rude awakening and I would love it if your smelling our a rses on the last day of the season as Bolton did.
