How am I being dishonest? I said that you replied after it was obvious that the thread was going to be argumentative and you just confirmed it. Being told to **** off is pretty argumentative in my book.

All I will say is that if decisions were made by people like me, who are anti-war and who have not been brainwashed by the media and politicians, Mr Keogh would hopefully have been alive today because we would not have sent him into a useless war.

I always find it funny (in the sad way) how people like me who are critical of the wars are accused of not supporting the troops, yet paradoxically, we're the ones who ultimately support the troops the most because if we had it our way, the troops would not have gone to war and thus not been killed on the battlefield.

I am not saying that you didn't stop at all. I'm saying that you didn't stop when you saw it was going to be "one of those argumentative threads", as you claim. It was quite obvious from the reaction to your initial post that people were upset but you still had to post again. That would have been Ok if it had been an apology but no, you had to get your point across didn't you.

Because you said it was pretty obvious from the reaction my post got that people were upset. But only one person has replied before I posted again, and one person does not make people. So, yes, you're being dishonest when you say that I saw people were upset and still posted, because I didn't. I saw one person being extremely rude, bringing profanity into a RIP thread, and so I replied to him, and also wrote in my reply I will not be commenting further on this thread because I did not want it to become one of those argumentative ones.

It's a condolence thread on a QPR forum for a QPR fan from the armed forces. It showed a huge lack of respect, tact and sensitivity to use the same thread to voice political opinions on a different subject. You seem an intelligent person, so why is such a basic and simple concept like this so seemingly impossible for you to comprehend? As keeps getting pointed out to you: "There is a time and a place".
