But remember, today it will be me, tomorrow it can be anyone.

You really have to ask yourself, who are the people who are going around asking for threads to be created about "Marshy"? Am I creating Marshy threads? No. Are the bullies starting them? Yes. So who really is the troll here?

If people get upset with my opinions, I don't give a sh1te. I am here to discuss football the way I see it after analysing it carefully, unlike most people who just regurgitate what *****s like Alan Shearer or Gary Neville have said. Or people who have sycophantic tendencies to hero-worship Harry Redknapp - "oh, Harry said so and so, it must be right". I don't give a sh1te what Harry says, QPR existed before Harry was born, and QPR will exist after Harry is gone to Chelski or whatever club it is where the money takes him next.

It is a lie that I don't listen to other people's opinion, I do, there are many posters who like me analyse the game carefully and form their own opinions and not blindly believe what is being pumped into their heads, and I like reading their opinions. The bullies are just upset that I don't listen to their rubbish and so they are out to try and get me.

I have respect for this forum, and I left for the reason that the fights were getting too much for me, and I am too old to waste my energy on bullies. But then I wanted to write about how I thought we were performing, and I thought, why shouldn't I, it is the bullies who are in the wrong, not me, why should I let the bullies make me leave, and so I came back. I am not scared of the bullies, they're trying every trick in the book to get the mods to ban me, if the mods listen to them and do ban me, then there is nothing I can do, but that sets a very dangerous precedent, because the next time someone like me comes here who is critical of Harry and does not pander up to the bullies, they too will be gone, and what we will have is a forum where the bullies have effectively taken over.

Lastly, I said I am not going to posting anymore on here till the weekend. Yet people are still posting here slagging me off. So you have to ask, once again, who is the troll? Who is the one who is not interested in all these OT things, and who is.

So, yes, if the mods have not banned me, then I will be back on Saturday to analyse the game, Harry's tactics, and if appropriate, praise him, and if necessary, criticise him. The one thing I will not do is let the bullies run me off.
you don't debate though do you?....You insult posters who disagree with you......When did you start following Rangers? I'm genuinely interested

        • When he says 'bully' does he mean people are abusing him over PM's? Can't be in the threads, don't see any bullying going on there.

I fully agree that there is a lot less aggravation than during the time you refer to. Those great old days when instead of the likes of Marshy banging on about Taraabt and Redknapp, we had a large number of people making false, misleading allegations that they could never back up about a former chairman, various posters, etc. How refreshing it is to see that those days are mostly behind us. Marshy's attempts to spam the messageboard are no different to all the nonsense spouted by certain people back then. The funniest thing about it was that so many of the anti GP brigade chose this site to bleat about him. Maybe because they mistakenly thought he had some involvement. Same as they mistakenly thought other things, but always failed to prove them. Not that I was either pro or anti, but the fact that some just couldn't stop squealing used to make me laugh.

Much the same as Marshy makes me laugh today. Most can see that generally speaking, he makes a fool of himself. Not necessarily because of his views on the game, but due to how he chooses to put them across. Probably got OCD if the number of times he manages to use derivatives of the word "Bully" is anything to go by.

But what I find most intriguing of all, is the inability of some to just laugh it off and not get wound up by it. The way that some call for bans and action, instead of just dealing with the fact that some people will have different opinions. The way that they label them Fulham fans, which has just got to be the most ridiculous response ever. A psychiatrist's dream, I should think. And other than particularly nasty or racist type posts, should grown men and women really need to squeal about the ramblings of others?

Aside from the fact that it doesn't sit too well within the site's rules, the swearing doesn't particularly bother me in the slightest. Once again, if one cannot compose a paragraph or two without using certain words that actually don't add anything to their point, it says more about them than anybody else.

But thank you for reminding us all that in the main, the majority of people on this board now get on pretty well considering they hold a wide range of opinions, which is to their credit and certainly an improvement on those previous times. A big thank you to all of them, as within reason, all views are welcome and we all know what this board would resemble if we spent the entire time agreeing with others.

Sorry for rambling on, but think we should all just act on here as we would face to face, down the pub. Far more interesting to read someone else's opinion and examine why they feel that way instead of just dismissing it out of hand due to it being different to the one we may hold.
False and misleading accusations in your opinion.
                  Or can you prove otherwise?

I therefore agreed with another poster that putting it to a public vote would be a fairer way to make such a discernment. I am not comfortable with mob rule either but I am not sure I would describe it as that. But I did feel something had to be done soon as this was clearly an exceptional case which was getting pretty out of hand. And there'd be no chance of this ever happening to a long-term and generally well-respected poster such as yourself, Deepcut.
just take a vote amongst you mods don't involve the whole board. Ban him or keep him, you guys should decide.

No, I think it's all taken place on the forum. He has certainly not reported any incidents of PM bullying to the mods. And I have no reason to suspect it is via PM's. If it is then then the moderators would wish to see evidence of this and take any necessary action against the perpetrators of any so-called "bullying". However my impression is that excuse has just been used as a smoke-screen and the "bullying" he refers to is his personal subjective definition of the term. Furthermore it could just as easily be argued that his posting style is of an equally "bullying" nature if we are to judge it by the same definition.
