SSN Another interview with someone from QPR in a car, this time Adel Taarabt, and the Moroccan playmaker hopes there will be a couple more signings todays. He understands that an offer is in with Stoke for Peter Crouch, while he is confident the new arrivals will help the club avoid relegation.

Crouch is nostalgic to QPR fans (older) but if he fails for 4-5 matches it could soon go sour and he would not be worth the high price. But I would love him at QPR - part of our history!
Odemwingie more likely as it stands at the moment - but nothing hot at the moment me thinks.

              Hope Crouch don't come.

We will need to rebuild the squad to fit in long passing strategy.

              That's not QPR.

              we need pace and chemistry.

Sky Sports sources understand that Peter Odemwingie is likely to move to QPR later today.

What a load of tosh, if your new LB is as good as getting diagonal crosses as the UTube shows let alone from goal line, then Crouch is your man. I for one am not going to second guess HR on squad. As HR says Stoke want to keep him and that is why Odemwingie is inbound to get on end of crosses. Not every goal is going to come from a pass that splits the two C's and Remy runs onto. If that is your game plan, it is one dimensional and wont take long to prevent.

Not really sure i agree with that. Crouch is a great player with the ball at his feet. People assume just cause he is tall all you can do is knock it long. He was part of a great Spurs side that played the ball on the floor and into feet. He would link well with Adel and Remy and obviously his height would be great if we could cross the ball.

The reality of all this is that Crouch is a great player and would score goals for sure. But, based on value for money and versatility, Odemwingie is a better option.

Yeah now that we have Zamora we could probably do better off with Odemwingie but I just think Crouch is a QPR man. He helped us at lesser times!

I agree! Crouch is a very good player but if BZ is fit, which is a big if, I think Odemwingie is more of a versatile option for us! I hope we get them both!
