We used Hughes's name to get some players in i am sure that wouldnt have come otherwise but when it comes down to it just look at his record ...7 away wins from 61 away games played since he left Blackburn. A win percentage of 28% for his tenure at Fulham. No away wins for us in a year!! no wins at all this season including games againt West Ham/Norwich/Swansea ....poor performances from some decent players that look to be playing at 70% or 80% of there capability. Still dont think Hughes even knows his best 11 as we do not have 1 player that has played in all of the opening 9 games this season. Too cautious and defensive to the point where we hardly have a shot at goal. Reluctance to drop players that are not performing and constant fiddling with player positions (this was complained about by Fulham fans too when he was there). He is just not that good a manager and although i think we have to give him a bit more time i hopethat when the time does come that TF will bite the bullet and get rid (probably at vast expense). Whoever we get in cant be doing any worse than Hughes.

I think that a loss to Reading may see Tony act, but a couple of wins will pick everyone's spirits up and I'm convinced they are incoming. I'm not really worried yet, but I bet Tony's bum is squeaking!

Give the TEAM time. Imagine how nervous the players must feel, when all they hear is people calling for Hughes´s head!
Doinstead Judge him on what he has acheived AFTER the January window. I should believe that Rigg has a few players that he want the club to buy. Replacements are needed IMO. The squad is too thin, and simply not good enough on the whole, I fear.QPR

If it's only till Christmas it means you have doubts as well, so perhaps those who want Hughes gone now, the doubters, are not so crazy after all.
As soon as you put a time limit on it you are putting a gun to his head, putting pressure on him and the team which will probably have the effect of making them perform worse, not better. Crazy.

Do all the dissenting voices blame him? Hughes is his man after all, and he's sticking with him. He wants the fans to get behind his man while we search for valuable points. I'm showing my appreciation by trusting him and his appointment.
Constructive criticism is helpful, constant criticism is destructive. Which side do you fall on?

If you appoint a new manager tomorrow he isen´t able to play for us, is he?:=):QPR

No time limits but if we don't get a decent points return from the next 3 games, TF is going to struggle to convince anyone, including himself, that we have the right manager.
All this talk of new players gelling, injuries, etc, etc, etc doesn't wash forever. There effing Xmas crackers in the shops, how long does he want?
9 games in is 1/4 of the season. After the next 3, we're 1/3 into the season.
IMO he needs results in the next 3 or it's P45 time.
If we can't win these games, how can we realistically expect to survive?

It's a high pressure job in a high pressure league. Hughes knows the deal. If he can't hack it then he shouldn't be in football management.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Would you have said at the start of the season that Reading home would be an ideal time for our first win? No.
Would you have said when Hughes was appointed that by November 2012 we would not have won a single game away from home? No.
I've gone about Hughes' manifest failings on and off the park - the evidence is all too apparent - but for those of you who against all reason still believe, I ask you this question.
Suppose you get your wish. Do you really want our very best football to be an emulation of Blackburn of a few years back? Is that the kind of game you want to see played at our club? Even Hughes at his best has produced tedious football teams, never mind the shocking state of affairs that we have to put up with.
I'd rather have had Olly (not my first choice but would have come back), us up and down like a tarts knickers and goals all over the shop than this uninspiring and tactically bereft individual. Good luck Palace.
