Terrible we are going nowhere under Hughes, ive tried to hold my nerve but the last two league peformances have been shocking we are in the ****e big time. Stick with MH much longer and we will be cut adrift rapidly.

I would give Mark Hughes more time.
We cannot sack managers every time they have a bad run of results, it happens, even to the best of 'em.

You honestly want us to sack another manager, 7 games into a season, and become the laughing stock of the PL? Would be no improvement from Tango & Cash - laughable decision. And who would we bring in thats better eh?
Spot on Matty...loads of people saying we need to bring in Harry Redknapp......why?....because he's unemployed?......I assume that if Daniel Levy hadn't fallen out with greedy Harry and he was still manager at spurs all of these fans would be hailing AVB as our saviour......let Tony Fernandez do what is best for the club going forward....

Fair enough but please tell me when has he had a good run of results, maybe I am wrong but I don't think we have ever won back to back games under him?

I see no encouraging signs that Hughes can turn this around.

We haven't won back-to-back games under Mark Hughes, yet.
But neither did we win back-to-back games under Neil Warnock, if I recall.
Mark hasn't had what we would call a great run of results, so far. But, that won't always be the case, surely?

Tin hats are the best selling item at the moment.

We need to sort out this defence, we know we can score.

What is crucifying us at the moment is, conceding sloppy goals, usually early, thereby entailing us having to chase nearly every bloody game we play.
Cure that, and points will be picked up, eventually.
Even that cannot be totally beyond the talents of Mark Hughes.

It's clear Hughes has lost the fans. Who ever refers to him as Mark?? The only case for keeping him is stability, not panicking etc. Tony F has given him such a free pass that sd he be sacked we'd also have to pay off Mark Bowen, Eddie N, Mike Rigg and Uncle Tom Cobbley. Hughes has, however, to know he's on probation. His career's finished if we sack him, so why the Christ he doesn't try to stop losing games by making such pish poor selections is beyond me.... My reaction on Adel scoring Monday and today was to shout 'fck you, Hughes'.... I wasn't alone. And I don't want to do that. He's gotta sort it ASAP. But I'm not sure he can. Who is? 45 players used; six wins as manager. The first weekend aside, we were never bottom under Warnock.....

I have not and will not get involved in this whole MH sack-or-not saga. What I will say is that Neil Warnock won us plenty of games back to back to get us in this league. He might not have won us back to back games in the prem., but then he was dealing with a completely different squad of players. Our big signing last summer was SWP

I know that Neil Warnock won back-to-back games in the Championship, but what has that to do with the price of fish?

All you lovers of MH i really dont dont know what sort of football you are watching, because all i see is total chaos with nobody willing or having the heart to fight for our cause,we are shambolic and have been since the swansea thrashing,we havent moved on and are still making the same basic mistakes we did then, this was well highlighted by MOTD tonight and how can you see this changing without a change of manager ?? the guy hasnt got it to turn this around so its gotta be HUGHES OUT NOW !!!

maybe another 5 games at a push
yes, he's been unlucky with injuries, he can't be responsible for shocking individual mistakes but he is responsible for failing to motivate players from the start. Teams are scoring against us in the first few minutes. Two down after 20-25 mins, same as last Monday. Wrong team selections.
Why did he not buy better defenders, I've said on loads of threads our goals conceded is a joke
WE HAVE TO STOP CONCEDING GOALS

Things are not going well that's clear. But defensive errors are costing the team ( yes he should have addressed the issues in the summer especially at cb) , but if Bosingwa had scored with that last kick of the game we wouldn't be asking this question. Yes his obsession with selecting SWP and omitting Hoilett and Cisse are baffling, but as of yet there are 3 sides on 3 points and one on 5. Qpr are not adrift yet and this is probably going to buy him time.
