Do You Believe Smithies Wil, Be Englands First Choice Keeper In The Future.
After seasons of miss kicks, gaffs and mute keeping it's an absolute pleasure to have a proper keeper between the sticks that you can rely upon and who don't have your heart in your mouth when he's dealing with a easy back pass
And you just get the hamlet out when hes facing a penalty or a one on one with a top class striker like tonight.
Very very good keeper, not England quality though IMO. Potentially one that may get Called up as 3rd choice due to injuries for a friendly, but that's about it I think.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Hahaha. Lay off the vodka mate. Rob Green played how many times for England?

Irrelevant . Smithies is better than Green yes but they're playing in different eras ffs. That's like saying because Michael Rickets played for England that Dwight Gayle should.
The reason behind my response is that Joe Hart has years left in him, as do Butland and Forster. Not to mention Pickford coming through.
So settle yourself down .

Good enough for england yes but will never be englands first choice. England is all about what team you play for nowdays, skill and consistency doesnt come into it
