Just to add - I thought Huddersfield looked decent at Loftus Road last season...good side, well organised.
Yeah that was when Wagner had been in charge for nearly 2 months - I agree.

Not a good reflection of what?

It reflects what fans on here feel at the present time, which is virtually split down the middle. No more, no less.

What would also be interesting is if the other R's forums have conducted a similar poll, and if so, to see its summation across the boards to get an even bigger picture.

Let's be honest though, if it weren't for the fact we've sacked so many managers in recent seasons, most, if not all, would want him out sooner rather than later at this rate.

Whether that's the right way to look at things as to why you would want him to stay, I'm not sure...

Just out of interest, how many seasons in the last 10 have we consistently played free-flowing and expansive football?

2010/11 and part of 2007/08 (Di Canio's tenure)

I'm not even sure if 10/11 was free-flowing from the whole team - If it weren't for Adel we'd of been playing hoof ball to Helguson or Rob Hulse!

I sometimes have wondered if playing at home hinders our playing style because of the size of the pitch?
Successful sides of ours in recent years have always had a target man to play long to.

Problem is: he doesn`t seem to want his team to play it the QPR way...

It's not a good reflection because what fans feel now is not necessarily how they would feel in two or three weeks depending on the way we play and the results. I think he should be sacked in 3 or 4 games (or the latest December) if he doesn't change his tactics. However if he were to change his tactics in the next 3 or 4 games I could reaccess my decision. I think most fans feel the same. If for insistence we continue to play negative football and in the next 3-4 games we are bordering on the relegation zone then he should be replaced. However if there is some sort of improvement in the next 3-4 games and he is not so stubborn, plays more exciting football and is able to adjust according to the circumstances then he should be given more time.

Also it is not really split down the middle as most people think he should only be given until December to improve. I assume December when his twelve month rolling contract ends. If his contract is not to be renewed a decision will have to be made before then in both his interests and the interest of the Club.

You seem to be missing the purpose of the poll JMel. It's reflecting how the voters feel right now, based on the season so far. Moreover, the poll also gives options for the very scenarios you state. It aint rocket science

Maybe. I suppose I just mean football that people wouldn't call "#########" (the banned "D" word)

Unless of course we find someone who can actually manage a football club. It is possible. Regarding the poll, the vast majority wouldn't give him until the end of the season to turn things round. I think that in itself is quite an indictment given the enthusiasm which greeted his arrival (in some quarters).

Watford have had more managerial changes then us but manage to make decent appointments. This is not rocket science. We don't have to put up with this garbage. Some of us just think we do because the last few appointments have been so awful. Law of averages says sooner or later TF has to get a call right. Don't get into such a negative mindset that you think this utter dross is acceptable because there is no one else.

Wonder how many people on here would have given Ferguson more than 2 seasons at United?

Good point but despite that I am convinced a potential Ferguson would be sacked by United themselves in the current environment. Look at what is happening up there now. It was generally agreed they had had a wonderful transfer window (not by me I hasten to add as the price paid for Pogba was obscene) but after three straight losses Mourinho is allready under pressure. Enjoyable though that is to see, it is indicative of the short term view prevalent.

For me you have to give him a season, we (the fans) are too trigger happy when results don't go the way we want. I just don't see the sacking of yet another manager as the answer, we've done that too many times. We all called for a younger, keen, hungry manager, we got one and things haven't worked out so far, do we keep replacing them until it works or do we just give one of them time?

What is the QPR way? Is it, the 67 cup winners and promotion way, the glorious 75/76 way, the early 80's with TV, the early nineties under GF, the later 90's, the 2000's or the 2010/11 champions way? All very different but reflective of the times and players we had.
