If he had stayed longer at the club and been less injury prone, he might have become a legend.

He's adored so yes, he isUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Really not sure, he is and always will be a true legend to my young boys, weren't our legends like Rodney, Stan and Les when we were only boys?
Now most of us here are grumpy old men, he wouldn't be a legend to us. (Bet a few of us won't ever see as good a goal scorer in a rangers shirt again as well)
Someone needs to put a list of five or ten rangers players classed as legends with games played and goals scored up, then I reckon it would be much easier to decide.

Adel, Hill, Faurlin.... - they all divide opinions, but not Charlie who we all loved. This, together with his personality and goals makes him a legend.Last edited by Timmy the Doc; 18-01-2016, 10:06 PM.
