So instead of being sarcastic consider that Swansea, WBA, Southampton and now even Watford and Bournemouth have managed to be where they are by keeping their feet on the ground.
You think Watford kept their feet on the ground? Really? Watford bought a crazy amount of players over the summer. More than even we usually do. But yea, if its not QPR, they must be keeping their feet on the ground.

I blame Rupert Murdoch for introducing SKY TV live matches and the Premier League, since then it's all been about money and business and not football.

Greed and power is the curse of the world as we know it and that includes football.

Yes and no. Yes owners should have ambitions in check agree but then again so should the fans hence the example of Thompson in hindsight he was running club rightly and how so many on this forum are demanding now (his ambitions were in check) but who drove him away???? Fans with unrealistic ambitions and expectations!!!! How many on this forum saying spend within our means were on pitch against Leeds or in the stands singing 'we want Thompson out' hypocrites

Bournemouth are bankrolled by billionaire and breached FFP going up last year there terrible example and Watford just as mental a club as us they had I think five managers last year and still went up

No offence Alan but by keeping their feet on the ground do you mean Weet Brom who were known as the boing boing baggies because they kept getting relegated, or Southampton who got relegated down to league 1, or watford who got through 3 managers last season and were the cause of the whole loan system rules to be re-written following the udinese link up, or do you mean Bournemouth who were doing nothing until they were taken over by billionaires and will now have an FFP fine for overspending last season?

Went with the board but the blame also lays with LF.

                  Club is a mess again.

Honestly I think everything went wrong when we signed Boswinga and Cesar. Stupid signings and we lost our soul.

Can't believe how the Board allowed Hughes to sign them. Think that was the turning point, bad signings, terrible football.

Regarding the Warnock sacking him the 1st time argument. Don't see how anyone can be against that decision. We hadn't won in 13 games, Mark Hughes took over when we was in the bottom 3 and Warnock has no good record in the premier league. Warnock is our King and legend in Championship and we should of kept him instead of JFH. The problem with getting rid of NW the 1st time is we gave the job to Hughes and let him go crazy on cash which he showed at Man City he is no good at.

For me one of the stupid things was letting Warnock have so long.... Because who ever followed him would struggle unless they got off to a flyer.

Personally I feel we need a couple of players in this transfer window but I personally would not trust whoever did the buying in the summer!!! As we brought a lot in but only one or two have made any difference to the squad.
