8 points adrift from sixth, throwing away matches that should be won. To all you that did not agree that was a very important three points thrown down the pan.

I am happy to keep re-building for the following season in the Championship tbh

All this rebuilding crap. We'll lose our best players and end up relegated next season

Not mathematically safe this season yet

              here's martinmalta's view

I think we may have to forget about this season. We are too cut adrift and January round the corner, which may as well see us loose some key players
. Today was another pathetic result from our point of view. Leading 1-0, just to concede two goals in the last 13 minutes! JFH may built something positive given time and patience, however, I cannot understand why all recent R's managers seems to like Henry so much! Are we going through the same course of playing him when there is Doughty, Sandro and Luongo waiting to get a game! And why he persists in playing Polter, when JET scored five goals in his limited time he had of playing. Of course there are still many games to be played, however, the more we give the likes of Smithies, Luongo, Jet and Cherry a run in the team, the better we will be ready for a serious challenge the coming season. For me, this season is already over.

Football to me has and always will be about enjoying the moments. That's why I never understood not taking cup runs seriously. We won't get relegated this season but don't understand why you should ever write this season off. Target should be promotion.

Fair point, I agree, I'm conceding maybe a bit early, but we needed that win today, lets all be really honest.

Draw would have been fine. It's first part of season that has left us playing catch up not this game though

This was a massive failure today there is no other way to spin it IMHO, I'm not writing the season off as I always follow Rangers win or lose but our play off chances may have very well disappeared today!

Not writing off the season but think players who will be here next august need to start playing games at the expense of players that wont be (Green, Henry, Fer etc). You donnt improve playing in the u21s

Yes a draw would have kept the gap at 5 points between us.

5 Points between us and Huddersfield. Another 6-pointer.

We are now in a situation where we cannot afford to lose or could be slipping down the table.

I'll have any bet, next defeat there will be a 'we are going to be relegated' thread not just a post like the one above
