this is another thing... people, like yourself are more than entitled to have the view that Ramsey was the wrong appointment in the first place! But now he is manager he needs to be given the chance, calling for him to be sacked after 10 games with the task he has at hand is just a knee jerk reaction and one that would probably snowball into bigger problems

I am saying give him a chance. We've offered him a 3 year contract, we can't turn round after the 1st game and say "that's your lot mate". We're in this together. Time will tell whether we made the right choice. I hope I'm wrong.

Btw: Clement vs Ramsey - Clement#s CV is in different league to Ramsey. However, I didn't want Clement either.

i'd have taken warnock or allardyce. Sod this rebuilding lark. You can "rebuild" and finish 10th, then next year be relegated.

I think I fall into the category not toeing the party line.

There are so many posters on here that change they opinions like the wind and contradicting themselves.

All I can say is I would not want them in the trenches with me.

With regard to Ramsey he has no track record as a manager and should not have been appointed in the first
place,as we all know good coaches do not always make good managers.

Having stated that this is more or less his squad so we have to give him time,maximum 8 games for me.

Also on another thread I commented that the preparation,squad gelling and player understanding.
for a season is paramount but as seems to be the case at Rangers for the last few seasons
we still have not addressed this

I thought the club from top to bottom had "LEARNT LESSONS" but apparently we havnt

Couldn't care less about promotion, it's relegation that bothers me and if Ramsey keeps us in this division after we've lost Austin, Fer and possibly Phillips then that's ok for me.

For the record Dave, im not sure about ramsey cos hes untested, and its much more likely he will fail than succeed, but i want to give him a chance and dont want to say hes toilet all the time cos it doesnt help and doesnt make me feel better stating the obvious and feeling clever when the obvious happens.
Would of much rather had warburton, or fat sam or pearson, of course, who wouldnt???

I think where the problem lies on here is... Some posters think that other posters are not allowed to have an/change their opinion on a certain subject where something different has been said by that poster previously.

There is nothing wrong with being generally un-sure on a subject yet giving an opinion on what you think at the time.
