and has scored almost nothing after that - in four seasons. I'll go for 3 league goals.

As for reading fella, they tried to sign him and wanted to keep him it just happens when he new we were interested he wanted to come back to us.

Mackie is a good championship player, no more and no less.

He also won't be our biggest signing he's here to do a job and add some depth. Better quality will be brought in.

But all this he's not good enough for Forrest and reading is your own made up rubbish!
This,, Mackie scored for forest and a team mate congratulating him was told to #### off.forest fans see it and and got the hump.shipped out to reading and Mackie must have thought #### me I've made a rickett here. Happy to have him back, forest paid a mill and he returns for nish. Good business.

There will be bigger fish than mackie brought in. The whole season doesn't lie on his signing . Get a grip all the mackie bashers.
Exactly maidstone! People would do well to remember how many "superstars" we signed the year we won the league. I seem to recall our key signings were Mackie, Derry, Hill, and Kenny. Taarabt was already here on loan and although Warnock made it a permanent transfer I also seem to recall that many thought he was a selfish get who would amount to nothing (and they could yet be right!). Anyway, at the time, no obvious superstars in that group, yet they turned us from mid-table into champions.

You need a team of grafters in the championship. What makes the difference is. When you can compliment the grafters with 2,3 or 4 players who have that extra bit of quality. It goes along way in this league.

Wrong. You had 10 journeymen grafters and Adel Taarabt. Whatever you say about Adel post that season, that year in that division he was a superstar and on a different planet. You could have almost mixed and matched the other ten players and we still would have gone up. Even Warnock, who has just congratulated QPR on re-signing Mackie, makes the point that a team with 11 of him wouldn't get very far. Its funny the anti Adel fans say you can't rate a player on one season, but Mackie fans seem every bit as happy to rate him pretty much on that one same season (and he was only effective for half of that, even before his injury). His great goal against Liverpool aside, nothing much stands out from him for me beyond that season. Hey ho, all about opinions and all that...

hah! I voted that because I hope he doesn't play. If he plays 40 games I reckon he will score about six goals.

Depends what position he's played in. He won't score any if he's played at RB, but at this level is capable of ten plus if played as a striker, and 6 to 10 if played as a winger.

All assuming he's a regular starter of course, which is by no means nailed on.
