I'm shaking my head tbh-if you want an honest(if you really need it) account of the question you pose then let people answer before in full because you look a bit desperate.
Personally i think yr a bit of w@ nkor but your entitled to your say the same as everyone else and i would never condem anyone to a ban for freedom of speech.PRIDE OF LONDON.

Personally I think theirs a lot of emotional pc pansies on here who get their nickers in a twist far to easy. Some take comments on here far to seriously.
The pc response in the world we live in krill is - as a mod you should probably lead by example and though voicing your views you is ok you should be a little more reserved than others.
However personally I think this is a forum and we are all grown men and women and its your right to say what the f you want. If people don't like it it's their issue not yours. If you want to come across a w***er at times that ps your parogative.
But that's my opinion. Unfortunately I grew up in Maidstone and the Medway towns and I don't think it's done me to many favours when it comes to being sensitive to other people feelings.

Also the forum has rules, so technically you don't have the right to say what you like. The forum, like real life comes with boundaries.
Not saying Kirill broke any rules, I don't think he did here. I agree with you that he should probably show a little more restraint.

Firstly, I was somewhat shocked to see what Kirill had written. Not that anything that he wrote was particularly nasty in terms of the wording, but post #11 on that thread was, in my opinion, distasteful at best. I should point out that I have met Kirill on several occasions and have known him reasonably well for a number of years. The reason I mention this is so that there is a little perspective here, in so much as I don't for a minute think that he intended to cause offence, rather than simply make a misguided comment, bearing in mind the sensitive nature of the topic.
I took the decision almost immediately to close the thread in order that it would not deteriorate into a much nastier argument than it had up until that point, as both previous experience and all the indications suggested that it would. I then pointed this out in our own section, stating the reasons and that I was happy for it to be re-opened if the majority view was that it should be. During a discussion on the matter, I also posted the following:
I think that as mods/admin, we have a responsibility to ensure wherever possible, whatever we post is unlikely to offend a large number of people. On the occasions that we do, I think that we should make some form of apology, even if it is just to explain how and why what was said may have been misinterpreted. Basic good manners really.
The thing is, on subjects like that, you get to a point where it becomes almost impossible to bring the thread back on topic or for the original point to be discussed properly, once someone has said something that many others find particularly unpleasant, even if there was no intention to offend. Feelings start to run high and people say things that perhaps they shouldn't, getting themselves into trouble. I was keen to avoid anybody getting a warning or worse, due to a situation caused, even if inadvertantly, by one of our team.
People mention that Kirill's comments were "harsh". I am inclined to think that it was more a case of a lack of sensitivity towards the subject than anything else.
I have attempted to explain to Kirill why I think he should simply make a quick apology, although so far without success. The way I see it is that I will always apologise if I offend someone, as it is rare that I set out to do so and certainly not on here. I may even think that the person who has taken offence is a bit of a wuss for getting upset. But in general, even if something has simply been misunderstood or taken in the wrong context, a speedy apology usually results in no hard feelings ad the ability to move on.

IMHO, kirill showed a rather shocking lack of compassion for a fellow human being. I hope he's not proud of himself but that is his right.
So far as the message board is concerned, it seems to me that he then stuck the boot in when people were clearly stirred up by his earlier comment. That looks a lot like trolling to me.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Does sometimes feel Kirills on the wind up and looking for a response (argument) when not needed- especially from admin/mod!! Exactly like Stan says "the role comes with a degree of responsibility".
My advice mate, 'think before you type' OR just hang your gloves up and become 1 of us, so people can at least put you on ignore.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!
