Barton wasnt wanted he cd have gone to another club but he refused to take a pay cut. He didnt want to play for qpr he made that v clear. It's being real to see them as they are. Cesar isn't a Vine. Loads of people would have had him and at very good money. Fella's earned millions in his career. Millions. Pretty much every premier league footballer has earned millions, it doesn't mean they'll gladly walk away because the club offered them a contract they then don't wish to honour, which is basically what you're saying they should do. You talk like Cesar is unique in this situation. He wanted to play but was cast aside by the club and suddenly wasn't even 2nd choice because they wanted to offload. Not his fault and in that situation, why should he do them any favours.

Anyway, what's worse Cesar choosing not to go quietly and sacrifice a load of money, or the likes of Johnson and Zamora who were rarely available due to injury not saying, "hey, we're a complete waste of space and money because can never play, we'll walk away from our contracts you gave us so you no longer have to pay us"....

It was a reference to the actual people involved ffs, but glad you'd use "us". The club could've put him on the bench but chose not to. By your logic you could argue anyone on good wages that doesn't play in the first team is taking the club for a ride because not actually earning their wage. Maybe all their contracts should be renegotiated for such circumstances.

I know I should get real and that I am deluded, Del, but Cesar's unusual in that clubs wanted him so he could have gone somewhere. Even someone good given some on here think he a better Rs goalie than Parksy. AJ could have gone to Palace last window. A shame he didn't. I was wrong to want him to stay. We- not they- we're wrong to keep him.

True, but not entirely true.

You dont take into account the British work-ethic mentality. That's not xenophobia. It's cultural. Something British teams have been renowned and famous for throughout the world, to the point of envy and admiration from our continental counterparts. It's why the British Army has always been considered as the toughest in the world, for example. This is exactly what Harry is trying to build here.

A lot on here always claimed he would be better suited to a bigger club. Well, you can't get bigger than AC Milan. Apart from 1 game, where admitidly he was superb, he hardly set the world alight, and they won't be signing him after the loan.

TAARABT - Best offensive player the second half. Seem to move twice as fast as everyone else at times. Would love to see what possibilities might exist with him, SES and Honda at full strength. The only issue I saw was his invisibility in big games,but he's never really played any big games before coming to Milan. B+
