      • I just don't believe Harry rates or likes him. Although let's hope that just like Barton, Adel throws himself into preseason training and grafts like he's never grafted before. If he does, then you never know

Marseillle made him feel welcome, so he reciprocated. When we made him feel welcome he reciprocated. Weren't you around last season???
Cesar didn't want to go on loan. He expressly said he wanted to play for us in the Championship. But we sent him on loan, just like we did Barton. But according to the Joey Fan Club Barton is a hero, Cesar and Adel are vilans. Geng is right - there is total double standards.

As for Ricky's point that no one wants Adel, quite true. But who wants Barton either? We have a poor, massively over-paid squad. The question is: do we keep the players who are not totally terrible (like Barton and Adel), or the ones who really are terrible (like Henry and O'Neil). To me its quite simple.

Seizure could have played first team football for anyone had he taken a paycut and moved. He preferred not to play. It's as simple as that. Adel has a much feeling for our club as both the Hulks. Let's see what happens there. You need not be a paid up member of any Joey fan club to appreciate the graft Joey put in for our club. Keep cheering on the folk who've never given a s hit instead.

              • Adel in the right team with quality players around him will thrive. That's why he thrived in Milan. Fulham and our team when relegated were not right for him he was never going to do well in those teams. Wrong mentality and not good enough players. When we got relegated half the players in our team and up front just weren't on the same wave length as Adel he thought too quickly for them and then he gets frustrated and then his attitude kicks in. Surround him with 4,5 or 6 decent players the lad will make things happen and enjoy his football.

It's not rocket science, is it Dave? Everyone who hung around and played for us in the championship is a far better egg than those that didn't. Cesar was told the minute we went down that he'd be better of elsewhere. Harry said explicitly that Green was the number one. Cesar stayed being number three. I wonder why that was? If Adel stays and if Adel plays for the team then we can reassess him. Big ifs. And nothing in his past- nothing- suggests that's likely to happen.

                  • Great for us under Warnock but the fellow is a total pain in the **** to everyone. Think we should move on from him as the spirit of the squad last year should not be compromised by anyone.

Yeah, because loads of footballers will happily move and take a pay cut just because they're asked wont they. Get real.

It's being real to see them as they are. Cesar isn't a Vine. Loads of people would have had him and at very good money. Fella's earned millions in his career. Millions. But, heigh ho, some folk want to keep cheering on those leeching a living from the club. And who couldn't give two f acks about it. That's real.

                        • Who is at fault with Cesar's situation Cesar for signing or us for giving him the deal? We have the same problem this season as last with him but the difference is he will be even less likely to leave as no world cup to play for.

                          • The club is to blame for appointing Hughesless. And then for signing Cesar. Cesar is to blame for staying where he wasn't wanted. Some of us, by booing him off the pitch against Newcastle, got rid of Boswinga. But at least he left.

Thing is, it's not like a real paycut is it?....I mean someone may ask you to take £40,000 paycut and you can still earn that per week....not a great hardship and most
players like to claim it ain't about the money....seems Cesar loves the money more

                              • Barton wasnt wanted he cd have gone to another club but he refused to take a pay cut. He didnt want to play for qpr he made that v clear. If harry wasnt frankly a bit desperate so gave him a chance at start of last season - which tbf he took - i bet he wd have been training with the kids, happily tweeting away on his 75k a week.
