I was all for holding out for a better fee from Milan, but given the size of his wages we should take whatever we can get for him and use the money we save from his wages on new players.

Adel is class and creates goals - atm we have no one like that in the team and we pay his wages. As some one who played up to a high standard but just didnt quite make it I can say I would have adel in my team all day long. These players tend to have attitudes or be a bit quirky but to know you got a player who can do things others cant and can win you the game in a moment of genius is a brilliant feeling and to be honest I been in many teams where managers build a team around a player like that.

Adel will always divide because he's that type of player. But to me its simple atm - We need him as things stand. If harry brings someone else better in who can create the chances adel can then fine lets move him on but atm he has to be one of our main players.

I like him most of the time, some of the time i dont, moody fukker, i think Harry should ask him what he want's to do, as telling what to do will be counter-productive attitude wise, if he wants to stay and play his part, im sure he will come in handy.

1 player wont destroy a team spirit - its when you have 3, 4 or 5 players and thats when you start to get a divide. Taraabt surrounded by the likes of dunne, hill, barton, possibly rio rather than knobs we had last time round in the prem and he wont be a problem imo.

If we did get Rio and kept hold of Adel, I can see Rio putting his arm around him and telling him to sort his self out and probably tell him about how hard Ronaldo worked etc. Rio is a fan of Adel, remember when Rio was tweeting about Adel saying he would pay his own money to watch him, etc.

Adel is a special kind of player.

We can't rely on him as we've done in the past, but I can't think of a team in the world that wouldn't want him in the squad. People are acting like he doesn't have aspirations!

Give him a chance and he will produce some magic and earn a big move. No point selling for 5M as Spurs are entitled to about 40% of that. For 3M I would keep Adel every day of the week.

If they can pursuade him to knuckle down and do a job then definitely worth keeping. He may fancy another chance at the prem also. Chances of this are i feel slim.

Him and Charlie could really hit it off, 'if' he wants to play his part, then the wages couldnt be better spent, he can be very very good when motivated.
