I'd definitely keep him because I reckon he can play as a true 10, ie up top alongside - and not behind - Charlie. I think he's a natural for the old Rodders role. I'd let him and Chas interchange. If it worked out it would create space for Charlie - who isn't a lone striker - and would be a massive benefit to whoever ends up in the attacking mid park role, hopefully a new signing.

Just a theory but I reckon he's a hit man.

Similar role to Le Tissier or Berbatov, but just too much of a luxury for a team like us that will be in a survival scrap.

No I think the lad is toxic in the dressing room by the sounds of it. Always be a massive fan but if I was Redknapp I'd make him train with the youth team for his lack of respect towards our supporters until he is moved on.

Club should make an example out of him, he will never change his attitude. I'd love to be proven wrong but he has let us down one to many times.

          Agree with above.

I'm torn on this one. Attitude is shite, ability is quality & given us some of the best times in the last 20-30 years.

I gave up on him when he waltzed in late for the last game of our promotion season against Leeds.

I find it staggering how many fans want this idiot back at the club! Adel was the biggest disruption in the dressing room, regularly turning up late for training, if turning up at all. It only takes one bad egg......!

I'd have him training with the kids or on his own, well away from the first team squad. He's got all the talent in the world but he's done nothing but disrespect the club I love and for that reason, he can rot.

Harry spin, not a single shred of hard evidence.

Adel got us up first time round with goals from midfield. If he stays, it's Harry's job to get him sorted and playing for the side. Colin managed it.

Yeah he did, in the championship. Not the premier league.

Harry spin? Not read Warnock's book then? Plenty of hard evidence in that!

Have you read Neil Warnocks book?
I changed my mind about AT after that.

Sorry Matty. I made the same point as I hadn't got down to your post. Doh!

Haha! I agree with you the Croydon, it was an eye opener reading Warnock's words about Adel and it came as no shock really. This is how he treats a man, who gave him everything too. The lad is a liability and needs to be gone sharpish. It's a shame though as he's got all the ability in the world, but he won't change.

                            • In joeys interview with insideR magazine or whatever its called he says Adel was a good lad and the disruption was nothing to do with him. Who to believe?

Was good as gold in Milan so people saying he can't change, or speaking like his some child killer or something need to drop the hatred IMO.

For me no point keeping him anyway as he has done the business for one of the world famous teams so he wouldn't want to drop back down to us anyway.

Is Joey going to ruin Adel in an official club magazine though?

As for Milan, it was his chance and nothing has come of it. Why is that? A club of Milan's size can't afford his wages and a small transfer fee? I'm not buying that. Also, if Adel wants the move so bad, why can't he drop his demands? News travels and you have to question why no club in the world is willing to buy a player with huge talent for a relatively small fee.

The lad was a different class for us and can do it at the highest level, but you can't ignore his attitude at our club. It's surfaced on numerous occasions and for me, he's run out of lives and I wouldn't give him another chance but I'm not the manager. Would I love to see him doing the business for us next season? Without doubt but it's a huge call for Harry to involve him within the squad again.

As you say, he's done well for Milan, but how would he react not starting for us, or being subbed? It's a massive decision and personally I think it's time to let him go.
