EDIT: I should add that the reason I don't rate him in the Prem is largely because of his attitude, not his technical ability.
Are you sure... he won the most man of the match votes on this site. I'd only have him back if he wants to play for us.

until we get adequate replacements there is no sense i selling the only player we have who can unlock a defence and create something.

hoillet, phillips, SWP & barton will NOT get through a defence like Palace's, let alone the better sides - they could barely do it in the championship.

Adel is the one player we currently have who can win us a match, with the possible exception of Austin, who may struggle taking the step up

Adel in team = dead cert relegation.
If he comes back and plays i will borrow every penny i can and add to what i have and put it on us going straight back down. And i havent got any hate for him, ots just hes a lixury player and a team like us can not afford any luxury players.

          SPOT ON
HAD HIS TIME 4 YEARS AGO
Done very little for us since
if he was going to be the big superstar (he thinks he is), then he would have done it by now?

HE WILL NEVER BE A CONSISTENTLY GOOD PL PLAYER

Most of the people saying no way to Adel coming back are the exact same people who never wanted Barton to play for QPR again this time last year. Saying he should be nowhere near the first team and QPR should get well shot. Those people are now Barton lovers and rarely admit to what they said this time last year. You know who you are as well.

Of course Barton and Adel have different attitudes. But you want the best players available playing for QPR. Is he better than Henry/O'Neill/Jenas/Faurlin etc?? Of course he is. He is miles better than what we have and arguably still the best player QPR have on the books bar Remy. So if he can get his act together its a no brainer. The likes of Hill/Barton/Austin etc would surely make him tow the line.

Personally, I would absolutely love it if Adel decided to come back and play long term for us. In a well balanced team, I actually think he would perform like he did in patches the last time we were in the prem.Also. Adel at his best is contrary to many´s belief quite good as a first defender when he decides to. He is strong as an ox and is perfectly abel to Chase down a ball sucessfully without having to make tackle...

Not sure about as strong as an Ox. He's certainly as large as one and about as mobile last time he played in the PL.

The lack of creativity in our team scares the crap out of me yet we have still have adel. He must play atm. He can see and execute passes that not many can and someone like austin would thrive of it. I Know it doesn't matter now but if we had kept taarabt last year im sure we would of swept the league apart and I still believe he has a key role to play at QPR.
I hope Adel reads this!! Well said,IMO.

He doesn't want to be here, he left a long time ago and doesn't t want to come back. He can be forced to play for the club but that's not going to help anyone. The best thing is if he leaves to Milan if the new coach still wants him.

They can't afford him so unless they find some cash and/or he lowers his wage demands the deal is off.

This.......however, joey had to get his head down as absolutely nobody wanted him whereas if we are to believe the press....someone will come in for Adel.

However would he provide creativity that we're desperate for Yes, would be be one of our better players Yes, would we have finished out of the top 2 this season with adel No.
He does need the correct attitude because he needs to train properly to get that sharpness but I don't just blame adel.
Yes he could use reverse thinking and prove the manager wrong but Harry hasn't really allowed him to.
He spent allot of time on the bench under harry whilst players inferior to him put in disgraceful performances. I don't blame him for feeling fed up with the whole thing.

Playing with better players ie Austin will also help him.
I think that if the two of them can work something out, he would be a tremendous asset. Easily the best player at the club at the moment and in many a year.

Can't have been easy watching from the bench with a load of dross getting starting places. Harry's management was a disaster that season also. He needs to accept his mistakes as well as Adel. If both are up for it, we could see some great stuff this year.

If he was so good in Seria A, why don't they want to keep him.

On a slightly different subject, but related, does that mean by next Thursday we should have an idea of which players are still at the club. Will the negotiations with players out of contract be concluded, and will other players (like Granero) return to preseason?
