Not against Rio signing but it would make more sense to spend big on a player that should last longer. Hope this disagreement if true doesn't leave us without Harry as our manager

I'm not a fan of signing players at the end of their careers but I would have taken Rio and Frank Lampard. That said I'm very happy that Tony has made a stand, I would much rather we invested in younger talent that can be developed!

I'm guessing he's been on big money for most of his playing career and probably won't want to drop much below that towards the end.
This is a player who's played at the top for many years and won loads of things. I'm sure he'd like to return to London on big money for a last hurrah.
We've been told by some on here that we should sign him because he's world class, fit as a fiddle and got plenty left in the tank. Oh, and is a good TV pundit!
If he's still all these things, why should money be a problem?
Come on Tony, the case has been made to sign him by a few. Don't let money be an obstacle!Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If Fernandes thinks signing the likes of Ferdinand is what got us in a mess before then he really knows very little about football and we really are in trouble. Ferdinand is a good character who will attract others and help develop the younger players we hopefully sign. No Ferdinand then would be very surprised if the likes of Caulker or Lecaslles sign, hangeland, Dunn and Ned doesn't really do it for me.
