Doyle very much reminds me of Mackie.....wouldn't be the worse signing, but they can f**koff for a mill, and wages need to be discussed but he is a battler, and gives defenders no peace

million quid is alot of money thats the point this time. We need to be more frugal and not waste chunls of cash on players who really aint going to contribute. The fac tof the matter is we prob wont have the 45 mill we spent last time more like 20 plus what we get from a few sales. By the time we buy essential signings like a class cb, cm, 1 or two wingers and atleast 1 decent strijer most of our money will be tied up.
Grafting can only go a certain way when you step up to a league like the prem there has to be quality as well and upfront is one of those positions we need that. doyle playing on the wing in the prem would be a p*** take.
Doyle scoring goals in the prem your having a laugh, so him winning the odd header and working hard really aint going to do much to our cause. As for le fondre it was a example but its one of a striker who may be a 6 yeard player in your vuew but hes a player who scores and I personally would much rather have a striker who scores goals than runs the chanels wins a header but doesnt score.

Ross McCormack would be my first choice simply because he has proved himself during the last 3 seasons in the Championship. However, I am not sure about his situation with Leeds having a new owner.

Troy Deeney is another proven Championship striker although I heard he has problems on attitudes off the pitch and we don't want this affact our togetherness that helped us get promoted.

Lewis Grabban isn't a bad shout and had a great season with Bournemouth but he only had one season in the Championship.

Having said so all would be better choice than Keving Doyle.

Surely we could have him on a free? Wolves can't afford his wages.

That's the point mate, Doyle has to be 5th or 6th option why go for him when money could be spent better spent on the likes of Rhodes, McCormack, deeney even soneone like Leon best I would prefer over Doyle.

The EPL has a 25-man squad limit with room for about four forwards. Doyle unfortunately isn't good enough to occupy one of those four places.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Not allowed to vote, but if anyone thinks doyle is prem level and he actually stays and plays we will go down with less points than two years ago.
