It's certainly a passion that I couldn't even contemplate giving up . No matter how mad I am with rangers I just can't help but forgive them , always have always will . I'm a keen carp angler and that's something else that I'm very passionate about and enjoy immensely . Rangers however are on another level , totally smitten and it's just the way it is . I bore the living **** out of people down the pub talking about qpr and irritate my work colleagues singing repetitive songs on a Monday after a game . Then, now and always forever my one true love

You provide a dictionary definition of hobby and it pretty much fits with your involvement with the R's - you do it regularly and you enjoy it, ergo it must be a hobby. Black & white - and that is how you see the world in general. I suspect it is the reason you clash with various other forum members, because they don't see the world in quite the same way. That's life I guess and it would be so boring if we were all the same.Last edited by twranger; 06-02-2014, 10:57 PM.

Following your club can't be classed as a Hobby.
Its a huge part of your life, which becomes an obsession.
If you are on a high you don't shut up bragging about it.
If you are on a downer you don't stop moaning about it!!!
Add to that the fans that attend every Home and Away game in a season, no matter if we are at the Top or Bottom.

I put hobby because I couldnt think of another word for it at the time. Its not a religion and i wouldnt say im obsessed. And if it was a curse or chore I wouldnt be involved in it.
But ive seen the word I couldnt think of now, passion. Its a passion. More than a hobby and not quite a religion/obsession.Top Scorers 2018/2019

Can't believe anyone would see it as a hobby.
Like most, I structure my life around games; my wife is not English, but she knows well enough to check on the scores to get an idea of what mood I will be in for the rest of the day, week, month etc.
Even though I am unable to get to games anymore, my life is still heavily impacted by the fixture list; I don't see many stamp collectors doing that, even if it was for a penny blackMinds Are Like Parachutes.
