Pretty well because he has had to totally re-build the team and we are still in the race for promotion, even though it's only half way.

Pretty well. There's still a long way to go and we're still right up there.

Austin's last minute goal v Donny saved his bacon IMO. Our position in the table is ok. The performances, all season, have been poor. These days people pay to be excited. 4-5-1 at home doesn't do that. Arry needs to check himself before he wreck himself....

It is a head scratcher - I think TW must have found a way to vote more than once!

I voted so-so. My reasoning is based on the resources at his disposal and the boring boring football we are playing. Based on results alone I'd say "Pretty Well" but if you are going to bore us to death then you'd bl00dy well better be top of the league.

The question is "so far", and that includes the half a season he had to keep us up in the Prem (and failed). So from the moment he was appointed till now I would have to answer "not very well" because at the time I would have been disappointed to learn that pretty well exactly a year from then we would be in the division below (albeit in third place) not having really played well all season and not really able to score goals. I wd give him massive credit for signing Austin, Philips and Dunne and some credit for Simpson, BAE and even Niko. Less credit for O'Neil, Benayoon and the pub player. If the question was "how is he doing now?" the answer wd prob be "so so". In short the jury is out, though I certainly don't want another ritualistic Rs sacking just because a fair number of fans are just feeling a bit browned off...

How are we punching above our weight when we have by far the biggest budget in the division?

                          As a club, that's our look-out surely?

The better football will come. In my opinion he has done well to keep us in contention at this stage. Its how we push on from here that matters.

Pretty much agree with this assessment.

It all depends on what slant you put on it? If you judge it on moving players on and building a team to get promoted then he is doing ok. If you are juddging it on where we are in the table then again he is doing ok. If you are judging him on team selection and standard of performance's then not so good as we are playing a very one paced brand of unthreatining football that he has instilled into the players. If you are judging him on why only 1 fit forward since the start of the season and only wanting to sign midfield players again not so good. I believe any decent manager could have us in the position we are in now with the squad at Arry boys disposal and also believe that the mans reputation as supposedly being a top manager is a media creation! We lack pace and creativity and that is s
