Totally agree with all that! Top shout!

Ever thought of doing just this B, and giving the game a miss if its that bad? Save a fortune and have more beer money!

Since promotion we have for the most part been far from great, but the last 12 months have been absolutely dreadful in my opinion. Loyalty to the club aside, I can't believe that any fan, ST holder or regular/casual attendee can hand on heart say that they have received anything approaching value for money.

We need to address this asap, as it won't be long before we are back to 12,000 gates if this continues.
Yes. Success and entertainment don't have to be mutually exclusive, and we have the potential to provide both given the talent and financial outlay. I'd hate QPR to lose all the goodwill we built as a team to enjoy watching, whoever you support and grudgingly or not.

For me, the result is not the be-all and end-all. I never liked the way Swansea play, and certainly don't appreciate the Rangers taking a leaf out of their boring book.

I go to see QPR try and win football matches, the entertainment factor is of secondary importance to me. I'm part of the QPR tribe and join in with the singing etc to try to urge my team onto victory.

There are many more 'entertaining' clubs around to watch. Man City and Arsenal for a start, two clubs who play attractive, attacking football. If I wanted 'entertainment' I'd go and see clubs like those, but I don't. I'm part of the QPR tribe and QPR is part of my identity. It's in my DNA and part of what makes me who I am.
I have no problem with what you are happy with, just that I came to watch QPR when Stan Bowles was playing and is also my local team, so while I will never support any other team because they are playing like Brazil but I do have a soft spot for Arsenal but City never in my lifetime. The reason I still am a QPR supporter because it is in my DNA as well but I keep hoping we will play better football as I remember after some nil nil or a draw I have left feeling yes that was a good game.

Of course I want us to win but not playing negative football.

talking to a Spuds mate and they are having the same debate, one up front being the common denominator
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

No mate. Just need to seriously consider if I can be bothered going week in, week out, if the management persist with such rubbish.

It really isn't a case of getting all stroppy or expecting to win every game. If we had the squad we had 9 or 10 years ago, I would be happy to watch them give their all for QPR, win, lose or draw.

And whilst seeing the owners pump so much money in to the club, the infrastructure and our potential future is great, for me the whole thing is ruined by Redknapp and his utterly, mind numbingly boring style of play. Occasionally, when circumstances dictate, then fair enough. But for an entire half a season and possibly longer, with the players at his disposal, it's taking the p155. Poor, negative, boring manager. Hardly surprising he hasn't won much in his 30 years.

I thought the debate was entertainment, and how some are happy to see QPR lose as long as there is keepy uppys, step overs and flicks. As opposed to myself who is happy as long as QPR win, and don't want a bunch of show ponies getting mullered week in week out

The squad clearly has some attacking players and enough players with good defensive abilities and so they should be able to entertain and win. Drab and often lucky 1-0 wins are not enteraining to most fans.

Players like Hoilett Phillips Kranjcar Johnson should be used in an attacking formation so that they can provide passes and crosses for Austin. Austin scored more than 20 league goals a season at his previous clubs but may struggle to repeat this at QPR, so ask yourselves why?
Hang on ...speak to half the posters on here and those players you have named are in their opinion sh*t. So who's right?...Them?..or you?

Of course we win the next 3 games and suddenly the moaners are happy as pigs in ....well you know.

This is the most reasoned and precise post that I have read regarding our current situation....

For me, part of being an R's fan is being able to play good football that is easy on the eye... In retrospect, when I first started supporting Rangers it coincided with our halcyon period with Bowles and Francis et al but I was only 10 for most of that year and whilst I considered myself quite fanatical there wasn't the opportunity at my age to see much of them on TV and I lived in Kent and the very idea of actually attending a game was sadly out of the equation....

Anyway as I got older I was lucky enough to be able to experience the TV era first hand and whilst it was sometimes a bit stop start because of the amount of offsides it was generally exciting and very easy on the eye... Plus we had some very tasty players during this time and included the likes of (and in no particular order) Super Simon Stainrod, Clive Allen, Gary Bannister and Johnny Byrne(apologies if I have got any players in the wrong era/manager etc)...

R's always seemed to play good stuff and have entertaining players (later we were lucky enough to have Wegerle, Sir Les, Sinton/Sinclair etc) but there was a feeling that we were punching above our weight as apart from any cup/PO final we have a pretty low following and maybe a hardcore of around 13-15K....

Having said all of the above, there has been very little evidence of free flowing football for many years at LR and apart from a spell when Di Cannio was in charge a few years back its been ordinary at best and turgid at worst..... I'm a reasonably understanding sort of bloke and I don't think that my expectations are extreme or unreasonable but I appreciate a little edge of your seat stuff now and again... Losing the will to live with this so I'll put you out of your collective misery.....

QPR are currently a very boring team to watch so let's hope that this changes ASAP..... However, they need to be workmanlike and pragmatic at times just not all the time please Harry.....

If you were writing the cheques at our football club you might not be too worried about attractive football. Promotion (or bust) ahead of pretty football any day.

sorry but we played some decent football at the beginning of last season but could not pick up any points. As much as this football we are playing now is complete dross, if you had to choose between playing bad and winning or playing great and not picking up as many points, theres no contest.
