I always thought Ealing, links in with same Council as Warren Farm. Takes us out of H&f who already has two other clubs. Lot of QPR in the community is with schools in Ealing, large catchment area with families and could see the club and council having an excellent relationship, probably get less planning headaches as well. Would be the only club in the borough.

if you are going to go 'all in' and invest in a new stadium you might as well make it 40 k and get as many concerts and events in as possible to maximise the return.

Old Oak common in the main is going to be an office and residential development with a small retail element don't think its on a par or competing with Westfield. Guessing our involvement would encompass the entertainment element[/B]

I've surprised myself by voting for the 40,000 stadium. I believe in TF and his team and I think he will find a way to fill it. This is LONDON and the demand for football is there. Of course your attendances will be related to success on the pitch, and vice versa, so what do you need to do: invest! Invest in the team and you will get better results and more fans and more revenue, which will allow you to invest more in the team.

My one wish: Tony, please make "atmosphere" your number one goal for the new stadium. It is what makes watching football at Loftus Road so special and, if you have it, the word will get around and people will want to come.

I don't know much about the planning process and even less about planning and football stadiums, will the club just pick a site and then a consultation period followed by permission and then build.

Does anyone know whether fans have any say in the potential location, in essence is their a consultation prior to the site being chosen. I accept it's the owners cash (or the banks) and they therefore have the final say in where we go subject to planning but with the history of Loftus Roaf I would have thought it prudent and in line with bringing fans closer to the club that some channel of communication is opened up.

I appreciate commercial sensitivity over the final sight being chosen but a general forum with fans without breaching confidential commercial issues would have been a good idea.

All they need to do is send out an email survey to all members/St holders saying the club are considering moving do you agree, any objections for going outside borough, what capacity, are public transport links important etc ....

Similar to the survey we got a couple of years back on our experience of LR and what improvements we want.

The club could simply ignore the conclusions but at least it shows some structured dialogue, at the moment all we are getting on moving away from our beloved home ground is a few tweets and posters referring to random planning applications that may or may not be relevant.

to be honest,its not like there is plenty of choice.Its not like we can pick and choose where we relocate,sites are limited.This is a particular problem in London(just look at the problems other London clubs have had on this issue)and why on earth we wouldnt want to go to the Old Oak common development area is beyond me

I think there'll be more than just a stadium. Think they'll be looking for a large area of land to redevelope.

These are business people - i'm thinking there'll be shops, hotel, leisure facilities all within the area. Not just a stadium.

Think of the ground rent they'll be able to charge local businesses, not just to come to QPR but to come to the area itself - shopping/eating/dining/entertaining etc on non-matchdays.

I think it'll be more of a village rather than just a stadium. Think the Mittals might step up some big money on this developement - property is so sought after.

i dont think they'd want to go to all that trouble and expense to build a 25k stadium.If they are going to do it,chances are it will be 35k-40k.As has been stated,this will be a leisure/entertainment complex.The stadium could well be with a sliding roof,so as to cater for other events.Perhaps built smaller with room for expansion(like Brighton)But i get the impression it will be built with one eye on its potential other than football.The reason for this is revenue,as well as making it more attractive to potential investors
