The English Premier League is now roughly halfway through its season and there is no doubt it is looking tasty and very close.
There are huge battles raging both at the top, for the top four, European qualification and to survive the relegation battle. I have previously recorded my predictions for the top four so have decided to also record who I think will fill the relegation places.
In my opinion the Premier League can wave goodbye too:
Portsmouth – look like they are really struggling with a side full of Championship-par players. They have got a new manager in, but with a transfer embargo still over them it could be a real difficult period for Avram Grant.
Wolves – sorry Wolves fans but I have to agree with this football expert who think Wolves are doomed this season. Mick McCarthy's side is looking very unpredictable but I don’t think they will score enough goals to survive.
Bolton – my final pick. This could all change depending on who they install to replace Gary Megson but just like Wolves it is goalscoring which troubles me.
