Ex Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins has publicly rubbished Manchester United's chances in The Champions League Final.
Speaking yesterday at the Nivea for men Great Football Experiment Ray said:
"Man Utd are a fabulous club playing exquisite football. Barcelona are probably the only team in the world that could compete with them at this moment in time"
The Stamford Bridge legend, 54, believes the mental weakness of the Manchester United team could be their downfall:
"You couldn't wish to meet a nicer bunch of lads. Top chaps every one of them"
Wilkins also launched a scathing attack on his last boss Carlo Ancelotti:
"A thoroughly decent man. He is a much valued personal friend of mine"
The controversial TV pundit also hinted at Alex Ferguson's drink problem:
"It is always a delight to share a bottle of red wine with Sir Alex after the game. He has a very fine cellar"
The FA are investigating these comments and could well hit Wilkins with a 'bringing the game into disrepute' charge.
