Another good day on Saturday courtesy of Safari Sunup’s place at Newbury (advised at 8/1) and the win of Kindest at Haydock (advised at 5/1).

4.00 - Ayr - Tyfos - 2 pts win. Available at 13/2 (General)

Plenty of well handicapped horses in the field but Tyfos has shown in his last three starts that he could be back on an upward curve. He is four pounds higher today for winning a small field sprint at Epsom last time out but did it with authority once he got on top in the latter stages. He won't mind if the ground eases and the yard send just the one representative to this track today. Tyfos is still below his peak rating of last season and has a reasonable draw.

4.30 - Ayr - Peak District - 1 pt e/w. Available at 12/1 (Victor Chandler and Stan James)

Look Busy is a very likeable, talented Filly and she won't be easy to beat even in a fiercely competitive handicap such as this. However Peak district still doesn't have many miles on the clock and he looks to be well on the way back to the useful form he showed in Ireland in the past couple of seasons. He is up to a stiff mark of 94 but in his current mood he could be capable of defying it. Probably doesn't want much rain and his tendency to hang right under pressure won't do him any favours here if he repeats it.

Running well of late and gets an eight pound pull with Highland Warrior for the just over three lengths he was beaten at Doncaster last time out. Gets stronger handling tonight as well as a better draw and will welcome any rain that falls between now and post time. Has run well over this C/D in the past, winning once, and currently sits on a career low handicap mark.

8.20 - Windsor - Striding Edge - 2 pts win. Available at 11/2 (General)

Can be a bit keen in his races but looks to be coming to hand judged on his effort over C/D earlier this month. Could be capable of improving on turf this season and his prominent racing style is ideally suited to this track. Lack of much early pace, Ymir will probably make the running, may mean he is a good position when the sprint for home begins if he hasn't pulled his chances away.
