FOLLOWING Saturday’s win over Wigan Athletic, Rangers' attention now switches to the Carabao Cup where Mark Warburton’s side are set to face Portsmouth.
The south-coast side will be relatively happy with the start they have made to the League One season, sitting six points off the play-offs positions and due to last weekend’s postponement of their fixture with Rotherham United they have played a game less than most.
This consequently means Pompey have had a week to prepare...

On my way home: QPR v Wigan
We are off and running at home, third time lucky and this should have been at least 5, first half was a shambles, shocking or no defending for their goal, misplaced passes and lack of movement and ability to hold the ball, second half we took Wigan apart and run them ragged, first 45 team did not look well balanced, Scowen having a nightmare and defence a shambles, second 45 call for BFG, suddenly we looked good as a back 3, we had a leader on the pitch who may sometimes be a bit basic, however... -

Wigan Match Thread
MARK Warburton is looking for a reaction from his players following back-to-back defeats when QPR host Wigan on Saturday.
The R’s have produced some excellent football in all four of their league games this season, a fact best demonstrated by the players being applauded off the pitch following recent losses against Bristol City and Swansea.
The appreciation from the supporters certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by Warburton – and he wants to see those fans rewarded with all... -

QPR v Hud: On my way home
Here we go again, another season full of optimism, first home game, new players and gale force winds, and heavy downpours, welcome to summer in London.
Well deserved point against a well set up Huddersfield, saw lots of good things today, and in time and with a few tweaks I think we will have a decent season.
I thought Scowen looked lost in the advanced midfield role, and we looked far more dangerous when Chair took over, Chair has great balance and vision
and hopefully... -

Its game on. 2019/20 season has arrived at last. We don't really know what this season is gonna bring but here's what the Boss says about it.
It's been a summer of huge change at Queens Park Rangers.
No fewer than 14 new players have joined the club, which could soon be 15, including the season-long loans of Luke Amos and Jordan Hugill and the permanent signings of Marc Pugh, Yoann Barbet, Dominic Ball and Lee Wallace.
But it has also been a transfer window... -

Our new way or doing things and place in the footballing world
Great pre-season in my view that very clearly sets out our stall on how the club should now be perceived.
The footballing world has gone even more money crazy and we simply can't compete with a lot of the bigger clubs at this level let alone be competitive in the Premiership. Longer term a new ground could be a catalyst to better things. Brighton an example of that after almost going out of the league. For now though we need to play within very limited means.

QPR v Swansea: On my way home
Outstanding team performance against one of the Divisions form teams, probably the most complete performance of the season.
we took our chances, could have scored more and restricted Swansea to the odd chance, the defence was compact with all 4 having a good game.
I think we may have seen our new left back next season in Manning, with a bit of coaching he could become a very good defender.
Midfield fought for every ball with Scowen chasing everything, upfront Hemed took...
